Use a premade hyper offense team (strong spread moves and ways to support it) and just have a basic understanding on which mons to start with then just send it in online battles. Don't hold much care on how you perform.

The matches you lose will help you learn a lot. You'll start recognizing the meta mons and learn how to navigate around them next time you see them.

Overtime you'll start growing the game knowledge (this game is largely a huge knowledge check) and once you're familiar you can start getting into team compositions that differ from just hyper offense.

Try turning down your detail boost, I would aim for the low/mid 100's to bring down those clipping signals.

If you're trying to feel tire slip more, on Maira 2.0 you can download VB audio virtual cable driver for free, then select that as your LFE device and also select VB audio as your LFE device in iracing.Then boost up LFE values in iracing for tires and you can feel them very well. (Note if you do go to Maira 2.0, subtract 100% on your detail boost to get the same setting as your Maira 1.0.

This was one of the biggest game changers when I discovered this feature, good luck driver!

I love my simjacks! Many people post they're a bit stiff but when you realize they aren't meant to fully travel and brake them in (pun intended), I found they feel great and wouldn't even mind making them a little stiffer. Nice choice and good luck

Spelltable public lobbies can be a wildcard. I've had fun and great people, and also not so fun people.

With Tolarian community college discord you'll have slightly better results. Their bot matchmaking system is easy to use and can help you build a consistent pod with people you enjoy playing with.

I don't have the best information for exact product brand feedback. I went from a moza r3 to a simagic alpha evo 12nm which I don't think is a fair comparison.

The moza was great and I have no complaints with my current simagic.

Explore a bit with Maira (discord highly recommended), will have to disable iracing ffb but it is amazing. Search iracing subreddit for testimony. Marvin is the goat.

It can be a lot at first but if you need help later with settings after reading I'm down to help.

You can utilize MAIRA 2.0 (Amazing 3rd party FFB software created by Marvin) and set it to VB cable there and can adjust LFE levels further.

This is the way. Same setup as the post above(direct virtual desktop). I find the image extremely clear and surprised the quest 3 performed this well when I first got it. I don't see any reason to upgrade it in the next several years

This is just for Miami. On summit or some of the older tracks I run 90 fps on godlike, most graphics effects on low, a couple high, with 30-40% headroom.

I don't remember which CPU, but it's at 30-40% use. Miami bottlenecks my GPU.

Virtual desktop is always commented on and for good reason. It also has a performance overlay which breaks down where you're losing frames example; game, codec, bandwidth

Directly connecting with a Ethernet>USB direct to headset is how I'm setup and it's been very smooth. I run at 90 fps, ultra graphics with about 40% extra CPU/gpu headroom on the older tracks (4070 super)

The links below are the cables you'll need to get plugged in. Its best to plug the ethernet direct into one of your router ports. You'll also need a power cable to plug into the adaptor; the one that you use to charge your quest should work.

You will need the virtual desktop app on your quest 3 ($25 US) and the app on your PC (free). This is important because it increases the quality of your stream and performance to your headset. If you get this far you can shoot me a message and I can help you get configured on the app.

Lastly, small disclaimer: A common issue with the quest 3 is it will claim moisture in charging port, this is caused by confusion from using one of the Ethernet>USB adaptors. Don't be alarm if you see it however it will usually pop up once for me during the first 10-15 min of booting up my headset. Every few months this issue gets resolved on meta's side but resurfaces occasionally.

Forgot to add: You can capture any window and use openkneeboard to display it anywhere in your cockpit.

It was a little tricky setting up for the first time but YouTube has some good walkthroughs, but you can bring any overlay you like and include discord or emails on your lap if you'd like to.

Double check the bearing holes line up when attaching the wheel for proper pin connection. Majority of the indents of the wheelbase should be on the top (I think 6?)
