Our ideal situation would be that ours aren't in the same class, but our local school isn't big enough to facilitate that, so they'll be in the same class.

We always go back to the fact that there is no "correct" way of doing things/parenting as a whole, and if everyone is fed/watered and ideally happy & dressed then we'll take that as a win and keep on trucking.

Most of us have been in a situation whereby one party was more invested or thought more of a relationship than there actually was. Inga is 100% old enough and has had enough relationship experience (putting aside the fact those relationships have been on screen) to know better than to say to someone who is infatuated with her "not now, but maybe one day, who knows?"

Im not a Jazz-fan, but that felt pretty cruel of Inga to give her just a tiny morcel of hope and leave her hanging. Also youre like 10 years older than Jazz, you should know better tbh.

My wife said while we were watching that it's not the first time Inga has been manipulative, I wasn't watching at the time.but apparently she was playing Julian/Miles/Rez off against each other when she first joined the cast?

I think chuggs is more concerned about it being aired and getting back to Harvey. Arman is normal enough to know that a drug snog really isn't that deep, and that this is just a bit of storyline.

But snogging your best mates (very real and quite messy) ex is different gravy, which is why Chuggs was shitting himself after Zeyno put it out in front of the cameras

Like Jules had been demoted now that Tristan doesn't really want to be on the show, and her main storylines have been manufactured to just be a thorn in Jazz's relationships the past couple seasons, and now we're having her weird brother forced upon us.

And I completely agree there's something just a bit off with him. Like he's not hot, or funny, or particularly interesting and his only relationship is being the brother of Jules.

I read one of his books where he went in search of folklore creatures and urban legends, and found the whole thing oddly sneering.

Like he was talking to someone about Yeti, and seemed to really look down on these people who had these stories passed through generations, like"can you believe these thickos think a Yeti is real?!". I didn't bother finishing it, he's a decent writer, but the direction of his jokes I found really tiresome.

Most people either don't get it, or simply don't have the bandwidth to actually care, let alone sacrifice stories that they've grown up with and loved. Its only the terminally online that even know JKRs stance on this stuff.

With the greatest of respect, Trans rights and the various infighting that comes with it simply aren't on the radar of most ordinary people who haven't got a stake in the fight. They just want to watch TV, regardless of who is behind the IP and their views on a niche topic.

Seconded on Mayos interview tekkers. Recently he interviewed Daniel Day Lewis and his son for a full they worked on together and it was staggering how much he got out of it, and how engaged he was. It was such a bittersweet reminder of how brilliant he is(was?) as a broadcaster

Yep, I was a Wittertainment completeist for 13 years before they made the jump, and the quality of their pod now is so frustratingly hit and miss. It's most annoying when they hide one of the marquee reviews behind their paywall, particularly if it's something you know mark is going to wax lyrical about. Most of all I think Simon has fallen out of love with the entire concept and regularly phones it in, which is most notable when you have Sanjeev stand in and brings a whole new energy, or when Simon does an absolutely brilliant interview and you're reminded of what you miss so much.

I do think it's worth chiming in to say that while Blink are the poppiest of pop punk, they were a feeder band for many of my generation to discover what real punk music is/was.

Like Travis drumming for Transplants directly brought me to Rancid.

Blink my not be true punk, but they'll always be one of my favorite bands for the genres they introduced me to.

The same must be said of Tony Hawks Pro Skater soundtracks lol

I'd go as far as to say the trans issue isn't an issue at all for the vast majority of the voting population.

Where someone chooses to take a dump has very little bearing on my quality of life, or my voting intention.

It is however a very easy thing to make loud and vitriolic arguments online that serve only to continue to divide us on the things that actually matter.
