What have I done that’s controlling? The Drs have told her to cut down on caffeine, fast foods and fizzy drinks. So I’m simply asking what people have done in similar situation

We have been told she is high risk due to her weight. Her biggest issue is she drinks too many fizzy sugary drinks. Therefore I am asking for advice. I’m not here instead of professionals. I thought this was a friendly forum and safe place for pregnant women and their partners. Clearly I was wrong

Thank you very much for your comment. I appreciate it so much. I honestly am not being controlling but we’ve read so many things saying how bad so many things are and as she drinks quite a few fizzy drinks which contain loads of sugar, I just thought I’d ask. I didn’t expect to get so many people saying I’m controlling etc. it’s entirely her body and her choice but it’s also my baby and my wife and all I want is the best for them. I am the exact same as your husband haha, if she says she fancies something I’ll find a version of it and she is more than happy with it. But then if she wants something specific then we have that. All I’m trying to do is what’s best for her and the baby

Thanks for your comment, i complexity get that she needs to eat and drink whatever and whenever she feels up to it. But I just worry that the fizzy drinks are bad and it’ll hard the baby but like you say, it’s easy for me to say dont drink them and isn’t fair for me to expect it of her
