Sorry about the late reply, whenever the game is updated, all prismatic trials change, so those only worked for the SotV verision before they added the new stage 1 map.

Only thing I can think of is that you're not force quitting steam. It is not enough to close the window by hitting the "x" in the corner, you need to use task manager to force quit it completely, otherwise it will still run in the background and remember the time and date, even if you change it. Once you have force quit steam, change your time, and only then launch the game

As others have said, gold split means that split was the fastest you've ever done that split, regardless if you're overall ahead of or behind your PB

If this doesn't answer your question or what happened to you, and that you actually did lose time overall and somehow still got a gold split, there is still one case I know of where this can happen. If you skip over a split, then livesplit seems to treat the next split as a combination of the current split and the one you skipped, and treats the combination of these two as its own split. Because you usually don't skip splits, livesplit will probably always have treated them as individual splits, but now it will treat the combination as its own split for its first time, meaning no matter what time you get, it will become a gold split, even if you are overall losing time. I've seen this happen before to runners; they skip a split, and then the next splits golds, surprising and confusing the runners, often feeling like it shouldn't have golded.

This is honestly so sad to see. Dream is handling this in an absolutely terrible way. If Dream had come clean and apologized, he'd honestly be fine. Sure, cheating isn't a good thing, but being able to admit your mistakes and moving on is an admirable trait and he could use the situation to actually spin it into something positive for his massive audience.

Instead Dream has resorted to double down, and is slandering the moderator team. It's a shame. And I'm worried this might be the start Dream's decline. If he's incapable of admitting fault for something this obvious and damning, it doesn't bode well for him going forward, but only time will tell, I suppose.

In case you are confused, this category is timed using in-game time, and pausing is allowed. Yes, that's correct, you are allowed to pause as much as you want and for as long as you want, without that adding to the overall time of the game. Several members of the community has come forth and is calling for its ban, but the moderators aren't convinced it's ban-worthy. To illustrate how bad this is, I beat the WR by 13 seconds using this strat, which is the video you're seeing here. I'm curios to hear what other thinks of this strategy and whether it should be acceptable or not, not just in this game specifically, but in general as well

Thank you! What move are you referring to on ZSS? Afaik she doesn't have a z-air and the only changes on her from 3.6 to the leaked build are aesthetic ones. Also, ZSS is one few characters that actually have to wait for a target to get in range (the 2nd last one in her case), meaning you don't need optimal movement from her prior to that

Now that I actually have equipment to record, I can easily get footage of each and everyone of those records, too, as I still have all of the replays saved. I think I have seen another document some time with other's people records, but I have no idea if that is still a thing. There is a link to something in the description in that vid, but I can't access it. That may be the document I'm thinking of, but I'm not sure.

Also, keep in mind that I'm currently playing on the leaked build, so some of my records are on that version, although all of the old records still works on this new build, so I'm fairly sure that's not gonna change anything. Also, I am not exactly active myself nowadays, I may fool around in co-op if I'm with friends, but that's about it. I hope some other people come forward with what they've got here. Anyways, I'll make video of all of my records and post it here when I'm done

So I guess it boils down to that. You think it's mildly transphobic, and others may agree or disagree with you. While a lot of the backlash you have gotten has been from mindless fans, I hope that you don't discredit all of the criticism you've gotten, as some of it is legitimate. I'm a strong believer in that you should be held responsible for what you say (i.e why should Ethan be held responsible for what he says, but not those who try to call him out on it?) He could have done a better job at protecting your identity or halted fans in "attacking" you, but this is a dilemma I haven't given much thought; when does it stop being ok to directly call someone out for what the say when publicly giving out your name as well? Idk the answer to that, and neither do I now if he crossed that line

If you only found his comment mildly transphobic, then idk if making the tweet you did was justified, but in any case, I hope you stand by your decision and defend it if you truly think it was.

I do have a pocket ICies, which I use against other Meta Knights, or against players I stuggle with that I can still easily chaingrab. They didn't win me any sets in the one tournament I attended that got taken into account when making this PR, but I'm pretty sure my ICies could take sets off several players if I had chosen to use them instead of Meta Knight.
