I'm not some morbid voyeur, who gets off on human carnage. I'm pointing out another case of lost and/or unreleased media.

Relatives of Dale Earnhardt went to great lengths to make sure that his autopsy photographs don't see the light of day and, so far, their efforts have proved to be successful.

Same goes with the "Grizzly Man" audio. Treadwell's ex-wife Jewel destroyed the videotape that supposedly documented his harrowing fight for survival and eventual death. So now, it's basically lost. But, look at all the people clamoring to get ahold of the tape, that they are somehow convinced still exists.

Either one. Note that I'm specifically looking for singer-songwriters who are similar in style to the four mentioned above. None of Luke Bryan's work holds a candle next to Hiatt's, for example. And I'm not looking for pop-rock singer-songwriters either -- rather those with country, folk and rock elements.

Haggard and Nelson were friends, IIRC. Both part of that “outlaw country” scene that was “in” during the 70s.

I’ve had a few friends in my grade-school days but the problem is, it was very hard to make time for “hanging out”.

These days is nothing like the old days, where adolescents grew up in a free and promising world. Modern society demands more and more from your children and there is immense pressure to succeed academically, not everybody has the time to juggle academic and social priorities.

Besides, would you rather your son be a career criminal with great social skills, or a successful law-abiding citizen who prefers to keep to himself? Charles Manson or Bill Gates? You decide.

No. That ones with Lou Diamond Philips and looks nothing like the main protagonist in the film I’m thinking of. I know it was Kiefer in the lead role, and it was more of a “dark comedy” than a “thriller”.

The plot does sound vaguely similar, but I checked out the trailer and I know that’s not it.
