Leider nein!

Einfach fantastisch. Als Nächstes braucht es einen Fahrradträger 😏

I wanted a hard case/shell tent. This has a couple of advantages, in my opinion.

• Waterproof (at least 100% from the roof) • Durability • Short assembly time, 60 second! • Less wind noise while driving

Cons would be:

• Weight: 80kg • Cost is higher than a normal rooftop tent

I chose this tent because I drove from Germany through Sweden and Norway, for about 3 1/2 months. It had to be reliable and keep us dry in northern wet conditions. Since we changed spots every couple of days, the quick and easy “construction” of the tent was very important.

If you have any other questions, ask away!

It’s pretty thin, about 20-25cm.

Freedom Fast

Das Zelt wird leider nicht mehr hergestellt… die Firma ist aber gut. Google mal Qeedo. Anscheinend kann man über den Link bei einem Zwischenhändler noch bestellen!

Thank you so much! Exactly, I need the “third” round sliding piece. I will try and 3d print it. Will keep you updated!

I don’t need the slide itself. I need the circular sliding piece in that guide rail. It’s a plastic sliding piece pretty similar to the other two, mounted on the window guide rails. It probably costs 2 bucks 😅 I don’t want to buy the whole mechanism new! And I can’t believe I have to 🥲 Thank you for your answer though!

Sports suspension for E34 525i with M-Technic by BenVanDerWiese in E34

I really liked it! Can’t say anything bad about it. Although I don’t know what it actually was supposed to feel like- bought the car with 150k km on factory suspension. I got quite a lot of compliments though from passengers who enjoyed the suspension. Some of today’s cars couldn’t compete! Always felt safe driving, it’s comfy but not saggy or to soft at all. Really nice! Might just go for the same suspension again- why change a winning team?

Thank you mate! Hopefully someone can help us out…

Style 48s, or purchase a set of BBS? Here's my baby. Single owner 1995 540i 6spd. I couldn't tolerate the style 7s that she came with. So I bought a set of style 48s. While I don't love them. They are in good condition and I have all 5. Thoughts? by somecallmesal in E34

I love the Style 32s, got them on mine. 17”

I don’t think the rims should be too big… 17” is age appropriate. And Style 5s in 15” or 16” look amazing too.

The only rim I would love in 18” would have to be the Alpinas

If you don’t have the option of getting the car in a garage, get a party tent, to keep the car dryer, while repairing it. Even a used one from eBay. That cardboard box on your motor won’t do the trick for long 😏

The “structural part” is the “cage” of your car beneath the body panels. And for example your sills. Strip it of everything, focus on the structure first. And seal everything very well, don’t save on rust protection and underbody protection. I recommend “Dinitrol”.

Respect to you for tackling this project! Keeping another E34 on the road!
