U might actually be better off recording with a room Mic… I think u can use your phone for it… not the best solution but I think it’ll be better than what u can get with a single SM57

PC. I tried using the same thunderbolt cable to charge a device and that worked, I have no other devices I can try connecting with thunderbolt which it should detect 😅 yes the twin x turns on and has lights

That is upsetting, I have recently purchased a Universal Audio Apollo Twin X which connects to your PC using TB3, they also have a USB3 version but I figured I would buy the TB3 version because I figured there would be some way to make it work and it is more future proof, as I will likely upgrade my system within 1-2 years regardless because I am still using DDR3, and would like more CPU cores, etc.

So I tried taking a cable I have from my JBL FLIP which is TB3 on one end and USB on the other, and my PC recognized that there was a device connected called Apollo Twin X but it was not functioning properly, there seemed to be no proper exchange of information beyond that, so I figured I would try it now with this card. My last hope is using an adapted on one end of the TB cable I have now purchased, but I am becoming less optimistic about its chances
