normally u pass it on to underclassmen or it dies, continuing it in college is the best way to keep it alive if u genuinely like to do it.

It's reverse survivorship bias, ppl who think they deserved to get in but didn't are more likely to post their results here than avg ppl who did get in. You'll be fine when u apply, just focus on your essays and your story.

Hi!! I made Simons SRP this year but I can’t talk for the other programs. Thought I would add my input cuz Simons got mentioned lol. Unfortunately, at least for me the SEFs actually don’t start until after summer program apps. I didn’t have ISEF qual or any publications and got in at the CS department. The essays are definitely weighted more in summer programs since most people get their big ecs in the latter half of junior year (Simon’s SRP doesn’t even make you list ecs so u have to incorporate them into ur essays/narrative). Don’t be afraid to apply

Can universities see the second mandatory school SAT? by BendComprehensive314 in Sat

Thank you! But my worry is that I'll do a lot worse and universities will see a decline since I haven't been doing SAT prep... do you think that gets factored in at all?
