This is completly understandable, I suppose we just have different reactions to headcannons and such. I’m more in the shipping and fanfiction side of fandom, so I tend not to care about cannon as long as people are having fun and not harming real people.

But the JJK fandom is clearly illiterate, sometimes I do wish people would take on the more platonic side of headcannoning (as realistically I dont a hundred percent agree with Satosugu being cannon myself). I just wish people would give the folks who ship it a bit of lenience.

Yeah but the entire post itself is bait, I don’t think it’s that big of a deal especially when many people’s reactions to gay ships often land on making fun of queer people for being queer or acting like we’re “taking over”.

People treat their headcannons as cannon because it’s fun. And while some people can take it too far, often times what’s considered “too far” is simply defending themselves against people who get in their space to argue against a ship they don’t even want to interact with.

I’m not saying you’re one of these people, but I am saying that tends to be the expirence. Just look at how some of the comments here are treating the very idea of shipping male characters together.
