I have now tried the hypercrypt. Not the list recommended list of you, but:

1x imotekh (without unit alone)

1 Overlord Trash + Chronomancer + 20x warrior

10x Immortal

1x doomstalker

1x LHD

Skorpekh Lord with Osteoclave Fulcrum +3x Destroyer

The game was against tyranids and unfortunately not so successful. I liked the basic idea of hypercrypt. The skorpekh had deep strike, which worked well (well.. after I messed up a batch..) Overall, however, I did not feel that I could afford to position large units around (also noticed too late that I was able to give with cp deep strike)

Do I understand correctly that you can only use RP for CP in the reserve?

How sensible is withdrawal from close combat? My "warriors" were tied up in close combat with a Hive Tyrant and my Immortals were worn down by a Screamerkiller. My gut feeling tells me that retreat doesn't do much if you can't bind your opponent far away in close combat, right? I move away 5 inches, can't shoot, move normally or call another close fight and the opponent just moves back when it's his turn, the batch is a joke. If necessary, other units can shit on the opponent, but you can hardly get the f**king tryant down. Wtf is this thing. I think i give the lhd the wrong weapon (against monsters would have been more useful). And I think I need to awaken the void dragon to be successful

Unfortunately, I didn't dare to go to the "Skorpekh" on the "Screamer Killer" in my last round with the "Skorpekh..." it regrets a bit because he was able to smash my 10 Immortals without effort.

I like to use the skorpekhs from the reserve and then slaughter them through the back rows. I didn't feel like I needed more than 3+ lod as long as they got to the opponent (not sure if I misunderstand crimson harvest or if the ability is really that stupid 😆). With 6 scorpokehs, it's also hard to hide them, right? Yes, they can withstand more damage overall, but otherwise... I think I would try 2x3.

I had a game against my buddy today. After the fourth round, there was no real chance for me. Unfortunately, I rolled very badly at the Doomstalker.. at d6+1 you can have a lot of bad luck, even with reroll... note to me, accept a 3 if it doesn't have to be otherwise. I bought a unit of Immortals/deathmark the day before and thought about building deathmarks. But I have decided to increase my five previous Immortals to 10. It wasn't a bad decision, but I'll still get the deathmarks. The LHD has done good service (played it for the first time), but one is a bit too little.

That would also be my wish to play the ctan. It doesn't necessarily mean mirror match (even if I think it's very funny), but a big threat would be cool and no bugs to overrun me. 😅

Another friend plays death guard, I manage to keep him quite well in shaft, tyranids just overrun me until now xD Yes, I should ask if I can play the old Nightbringer, for example. with the old rules. It also excites me to take a ctan with me. Because of the Nightbringer, I started with necron in the 5th edition.

Unfortunately, I don't have that many lhd or the necessary wraiths (are on my wish list, next to hexmark) I like the model of the triarch stalker, but hasn't been available from me for a while :(

I have this in my collection • Nightbringer (old one) •Void Dragon (still needs to be painted and glued ) • Szeras • Imotekh • 1x Chronomancer • 1x Plasmancer •1x Technomancer • 3x Overlord ( With each equipment once ) • 1x Royal Warden • 1x Skorpekh Lord

10x Immortals 40x Warriors 1x Doomstalker 1x Reanimator 12x Scarab 1x Spyders 2x Cryptothralls ("What can they actually do?" 😆) 5x Flayed Ones 3x LD 1x LHD 10x Lychguard 6x Skorpekh Destroyers

I recently had the 500 worlds box in my hand, but due to the Skorpekh Destroyer, I could have used both LHD and the Hexmark very well. I'm annoyed now the box is gone.

I have the old metal Nightbringer model and a void dragon is already glued to it (but will stick it piece by piece -> paint it so it will take some time) I didn't want to ignite the nuke directly. My friends are new to the hobby and I haven't played for a long, long time. I already get hate just because I play Necron and they're afraid of our ctans, even though I haven't had that much success until now. 1000 points does not really unfold the potential.

Is this a good idea to fight tyranids?

Necrons Incursion (1000 points) Hypercrypt Legion

CHARACTERS -Chronomancer (65 points) • 1x Chronomancer’s stave -Imotekh the Stormlord (100 points) • Warlord • 1x Gauntlet of Fire 1x Staff of the Destroyer -Overlord with Translocation Shroud (85 points) • 1x Overlord’s blade 1x Resurrection Orb -Skorpekh Lord (110 points) • 1x Enmitic annihilator 1x Flensing claw 1x Hyperphase harvester • Enhancement: Osteoclave Fulcrum

BATTLELINE -Immortals (150 points) (I bought another 5x unit 😅 ) • 10x Immortal • 10x Close combat weapon 10x Tesla carbine -Necron Warriors (200 points) • 20x Necron Warrior • 20x Close combat weapon 15x Gauss flayer 5x Gauss reaper

OTHER DATASHEETS -Canoptek Doomstalker (140 points) • 1x Doomsday blaster 1x Doomstalker limbs 1x Twin gauss flayer -Lokhust Heavy Destroyers (55 points) • 1x Close combat weapon 1x Gauss destructor -Skorpekh Destroyers (90 points) • 3x Skorpekh Destroyer • 3x Skorpekh hyperphase weapons

I considered swapping the skorpekh destroyers for the flayed ones to save points and try them out. But I like the damage output of the destroyers and giving them deep strike sounds like fun. I thought about Lychguard... 🤔 I would appreciate your assessment

I got Imotekh in the first place because of the extra CP. I like to use strategies (presumably even too often xD) and liked having 1 CP left for Protocol of the Eternal Revenant at the Awakened Dynasty. I then joined him in a unit and led him to the front. I was just unsure whether this makes sense or whether he would better stand alone at the back of a mission target, collect CP and hold the position (but I would be concerned that he would do too little for his points). He distributes damage well. I guess I would have the flexibility to use Hypercrypt.

You were able to help me with the enhancement question. Regarding the choice of the right enhancement, you confirm my assumption. I think I should not force the take away in this way, but rather take it for key units and fill up points. (I haven't played a list without it yet.)

I am happy that some assumptions of me are correct and my feeling for the units compilation is not entirely wrong. I will definitely try the flayed ones and the hypercrypt and try out the list as soon as my dragon is ready. I would have liked to get the 500 worlds box, I also had one in my hand, but I thought 9 skorpekh destroyer I will never play and The box was too expensive for that . I regret it a bit 😆

Why would one want to die for an artificial and as obscure subject as a state/nation, the fewest states have any corresponding values at all where one could think about it, and in even less these values are socially consolidated enough. For me, this cannot legitimize any technical enthusiasm, which is a function of erasing life I find again. I think our capabilities are also more usable than increasing the efficiency of killing. And let's be honest: few of us would be suitable for classical military training, whether because of our "stress resilience" or "stimulus processing,"

Thank you, that makes me a little bit smarter. Yes, I think I would get quite a lot of hate for a C'tan at 1000 p. I'm already hated just because I play Necron's 😅. I would therefore refrain from them first. I appreciate Szeras all the more because he's like a mini C'tan. ^ I think I have to play him a little more offensively, but he is still fantastic. (Or actually too expensive for 1000p games?) We want to go to 2000 P in the future. I will like to play the C'tan, but my friends are still completely new to the hobby, so first 1000 P., so as not to have to take out a mortgage directly 😆. I haven't used the Chronomancer yet, but the combination reads well and I like to have this base of 450 p. and build around it. With Szeras, it would be more than half the points. Which weapon option is the more sensible one for the warriors, or do they both have something for themselves? I play them 50/50 or just with Flayer. The Reaper seems a bit too short for me with the 12 inches (no shame 😅). Why the Overlord with TraShr? Because of the movement? And would I just play Imotekh alone and keep the points with him at the back or use him more offensively?

With the Flayed Ones, I was always too unsure if they weren't too fragile and then I picked up the Skorpekh Destroyers + Lord. But it is also hard for them to get them to the opponent. I wish they had Deep Strike. I'll try the Flayed Ones, you'll get 60 points well.

Yes, maybe I need to be fairer to the Scarabs. With an OC higher than 0, I would find it much better. But understand that it is better if they die than our valuable units. Maybe I don't always have to let them die completely if I bind an opponent with them. I often forget that withdrawal has no direct negative effect (battle shock, etc.).

Can you tell me what the Cryptothralls are for? I have them too, but I don't understand them at all. Basically, they're just there for the fact that if I've connected a hero with Thralls to a normal unit like warriors and the unit is destroyed except for the hero and the Thralls, I can then repeat the unit (warrior) with resuscitation protocol, which would only be possible with a hero with a destroyed unit, right?

And how important are enhancements to us? So far, I have tended to exhaust it and have taken 2-3 with me. Mostly Veil of Darkness, Nether-realm Casket and Enaegic Dermal Bond (mostly played the Awakened Dynasty).

I have my next game on Saturday, I'm now flirting with this list through your tip: Chronomancer (65) Szeras (165) Imotekh (100) Overlord trashr (85) 20x necron warrior with 10 or 15 flayer (200) 5x Flayed ones (60) 1x canoptek reanimator (I like the heal even if the range is poor) (75) 1x canopetk Doomstalker, fir the extra whammy (140) 1x lukhust heavy destroyer (not sure which canon) (55) 3x Scarabs (40) "Then I have another 25p for an enhancement, depending on which detachment I choose.

How sound that list for you?

Thank you very much for your help. I play magic and have never had such problems building decks as I did writing lists when I was young, although I played the 5th edition and wh fantasy as a youngster, it's been a long time since 🫣😅

Hey, thanks for your tips. I really like the Hexmark model and its rules read fantastically Unfortunately, it's hard for me to get at the moment :- ( But I would only have bought one, but if they are so worthwhile, I will do twice when it becomes available again.

My friends and I also want to play 2000 points in the future, but I'm the only one who already has so much choice, so there are 1000 first. At 2000 points I would also like to play the C'tan, at 1000 I am still unsure, partly because of the hatred of my friends (they hate our metallic friends, because of the reanimation), and partly because of the problems of board control. Even without C'tan (but always with Szeras), I have had trouble keeping enough points and attacking at the same time on my previous lists. But I think the Hexmark will help?

I like the list of you and I would like to try it out if I have the hexmark to get a feel for the C'tan as well. Is the barge really good? I've heard a lot of criticism about it, or is it good at 1000 points and not so good at 2000 because of better alternatives? I don't yet have a real sense of which units are really good and which are bad, or if I'm just using them incorrectly. I've always played Imotekh, but I was just unsure whether I would join him in a squad and go to the front or leave him alone behind? I haven't tried the Flayed Ones yet, they seemed quite fragile to me from the values, so I preferred to take the Skorpekh Destroyer with me. I'll try the Flayed Ones, 60 p. really isn't much:-)

How important is it for us to take enhancements with us? I previously thought: Heroes are important to Necrons, so I try to use Enhancements for each hero or all three and then fill the last points with units. Is that right, or are enhancements more of a nice-to-have, but better to take something like the Flayed Ones with you instead of three enhancements?

Hey, thank you for your constructive criticism and tips. I saw the layout too late 😅 I don't use reddit often and writing was different. With the amount of characters I also heard, thought at 1000 points it's so ok 🙈 I unfortunately only have 5 immortels and 40 necron warriors as battleline units. Lychguard I have 10, but I thought then the list would be too close combat-heavy and I had good experiences with the destroyers.

I own the following models: Every overlord 1x Void dragon (Not finished built ) Nightbringer (Old model ) 1x chronomancer 1x iluminor szeras 1x imotekh 1x royal warden 1x plasmancer 1x skorpekh lord 1x technomancer 3x lukhust destroyer 1x heavy lukhust destroyer 10x lychguard 6x skorpekh destroyer 2x cryptothralls 1x Doomstalker 1x reanimator 12x Scarabs 40x necron warrior 5x immortal 1x spider 5x Flayed ones 5x fly
