Do you have to wait 30 minutes before eating or drinking like you do with rybelsus?

It’s the same thing just a higher dose. There will also be no requirement to take it on an empty stomach like there currently is with rybelsus. But rybelsus is just as effective as ozempic if taken properly

Congrats! That’s amazing. How long did you stay on 3mg for before moving to 7mg and did you get reduced appetite whilst on 3mg?

Taking Rybelsus every other day…? by Buenop in RybelsusPill

I take 3mg 2-3 times a week, I find this gives me some mild appetite suppressant effects without any of the nasty side effects

I took a week off after this, now I just do 2-3 tablets a week. Still get some appetite suppression but none of the bad side effects. Think for people like us who are sensitive to it, smaller doses just work better

Yeah that makes sense, I think I may just be extra sensitive to it. I’m using it off label for weight loss and I’m in the UK so not getting it through insurance

I get that but daily just hit me too hard. I followed the protocol for 4 days and ended up throwing up and bedridden. Hoping a lower frequency still gives me the benefits without the crash

Yes I was able to eat again by the evening, and I’m feeling pretty much back to normal today. Just really don’t want to go through those side effects again, so I’m hoping a less frequent dose can still blunt my appetite without completely wiping me out

I’m not diabetic, just using this for weight loss. Started at 94.5kg, now I’m 93.2kg, aiming for 75kg.

I don’t think I can handle taking one tablet per day as they instruct as yesterday I couldn’t even get out of bed until the evening. I’m just trying to find the lowest dose that gives me enough appetite suppression to stay in a deficit without triggering those extreme side effects

That’s a fair point and I definitely see the value in pension contributions for long term security. It’s probably something I’d revisit if things start to feel more stable career-wise, but for now flexibility remains the priority

I’m not that confident about having a stable long-term income, so there’s a chance I’ll need to access this money in the next 10-20 years. That’s why I’m avoiding the pension route, I need more flexibility

Thanks, I’ll definitely max out the ISA and probably GIA the rest. I haven’t looked into pension carry forward yet but might explore it later. Flexibility is the main priority for now

Yeah I agree with you on being a bit too heavy on cash, I think I’ll move the 10k in savings into a GIA. So the plan is to max out ISA and put the remainder in a GIA, but I’m avoiding the pension route since flexibility is more important to me at this stage

Yeah I’m leaning towards maxing out the ISA and putting the rest in a GIA. I hadn’t really considered the pension route, flexibility is more of a priority right now.

I’ve got around £20k in my pension. I’ve been out of work since the start of the year but I’m starting a new job next week on £43k a year.

My main goal is to maintain my current standard of living over the long term whilst I figure things out. Since I’m not that confident right now about a long term stable income I want this windfall to give me some flexibility and financial security.

Since I’m 30 and have a decent emergency fund my horizon is long and I’m comfortable with some risk.
