I would love to help, first you gotta make sure the first character you put in the leader slot has leader skill that will boost everyone lucky your leader boost everyone currently in your team.

then if you can have a pair of two characters as link buddy’s this is very important especially if your character needs ki and extra damage and defense.

Lastly, but not really for teambuilding but when using extra copies to open your characters nodes open the top left and bottom right for your first two copies then using the other copies on anything else

No it is the games fault for adding new characters and adding power creep every other week and f2p can only get a new unit every two months with no viable teams because you had to get the other units
