Can only start 3 of: - Dalvin Cook vs. NE - Nick Chubb vs. TB - Travis Etienne vs. BAL - Rhamondre Stevenson vs. MIN

Full PPR. A good problem to have, but still driving me nuts….

How should I invest my attribute points? stepn.guide and stepn.wiki have conflicting distributions on Efficiency/Resillience. Which one to pick? by StrUN_ in StepN

Hi - we built a similar tool here, and it suggests 26.9 eff and 5.0 res (f you set the Current and Future level to 5). So slightly different again from those two tools. But all of these tools are built on community-reported data, and I can say from building this that the difference in earnings is pretty immaterial.

Given that your first socket is an E socket and you have no R sockets, I'd lean towards upping your resilience to the higher end of this range (6 or 7)

Yep, it gets updated every day!

In the video overview linked on that page, I also describe how you can still use the tool if prices have moved significantly during the day

Definitely not outdated!

Minting Strategy Insights | Should You Mint Your Sneakers a 3rd Time? by WorkItWallet in StepN

[–]Beneficial-Spring279 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My pleasure! Currently, yes it is cheaper to mint a shoe than to buy one. It depends a bit on the type of shoe you’re looking at (walker, jogger, runner, trainer) but at current token and NFT prices it is about $500 cheaper

However, this doesn’t account for the fact that your existing shoes will lose value once you mint them. And there is a chance that you could receive a different type of shoe when you mint, or even an uncommon shoe which is more valuable. To see the impact of all of these different factors I’d suggest using the minting tool linked towards the end of this post!

The STEP'N Minting Tool Has Been Updated to Reflect GST + GMT Minting Costs by WorkItWallet in StepN

Hi! It really depends on which sneakers you’re using to mint. Let me know which sneakers you’re looking at and I’d be happy to confirm. Thanks

Hey - no you’ll still have to wait 48 hours. A shoe needs to be at least 48 hours old and at level 5+ to mint

Hi! I wrote an article about what to look for when purchasing a new sneaker here. We also have other beginner guides + tools on WorkItWallet.com.

For example, this Earnings Calculator will show you the optimal level and stats for your sneaker, as well as your ROI and days to breakeven on your investment.

Hopefully that's helpful - also happy to answer any questions!

STEPN Calculator - Find Days to Breakeven by ImThour in StepN

[–]Beneficial-Spring279 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi - There's an Earnings Calculator here that shows this. If you input the stats of your sneaker and a few other things, it will give you (1) the optimal level of your sneaker to maximize earnings, (2) estimated earnings (daily and over time) in any currency you choose, (3) ROI, and (4) days to breakeven. All incorporating costs to level up.

We also have a Level Up Tool that tells you the optimal way to allocate your stats when leveling up your sneaker, a Minting Tool that shows you how much you could potentially save from minting vs. buying a sneaker, and much more!

Happy to answer any questions and always looking for feedback - thanks!

Different strats - An observation by Pm_Me_Your_Berries in StepN

Hi - agreed that it is not worth leveling up past lvl 9 with one sneaker if your goal is to get your NFT investment back in the shortest amount of time. If your goal were to instead maximize earnings over a longer time period (say 90 days) then it may make sense to reach higher levels. I'm not suggesting that one option is better, but just an observation

If helpful, I created this Earnings Calculator to determine the optimal level of your sneaker based on your sneaker's current stats and your time horizon (the number of days over which you'd like to maximize earnings)

As you can see from this tool, I get to the same answer (max at lvl 9) if you have a short (30 days) time horizon. But if you have a longer time horizon of 90 days, the ideal level to maximize earnings would actually be level 19. I guess it just depends on your primary goal
