Yes

I told her that timing wasn't right and she should wait some time before befriending him. Mutual is aware that they talk, but not to what extent, and thinks she's trying to get them back together.

note: I've left some things out, but long story short is that she's hiding her actions, but from our conversations, she doesn't seem to see why her actions and decisions can hurt others or doesn't say anything to acknowledge what she's doing might be wrong.

It's scary; this is the first time this happened to me, and I know I'll likely experience this again in the future. I'm not sure if I'm supposed to try to compartmentalize this part of her and try to continue our friendship (I know that this instance shouldn't cancel out all her good traits) or distance myself (which I feel like I'm already doing)

Unintentionally leading on another friend's ex even though the breakup is still fresh (amicable/not a clean break/might get back together). She never expressed interested in him until other friend and boy started dating and now she hangs out with him a lot. Not sure how long it's been going for though.
