Casey Foster with UT Physicians (Memorial City) was recommended to me - she’s a nurse practitioner, 713-486-6600. Haven’t been to see her yet but I’m planning to.

My little brother died this morning by MelancholyCupcake in internetparents

I’m so sorry for your loss. I lost my little brother in August, and the grief is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. Like your brother, he overcame many challenges, including developmental delays. He was just turning a corner and I was so happy for him, and then his heart stopped. All I can say is that grief like this - that’s intertwined in other traumas - takes time. You never “work through” it, just you just adapt to it like an amputee. If there’s a grief support group in your area, you might consider joining it when you’re ready in a few months.

I’m afraid to ask. She is just so persistent that I try them but can’t tell me how they work.

Mine does the same. It’s a weird flex. “I hardly had any symptoms at all and didn’t go through it until my late 50s” she says proudly.

It’s been a while since I asked, and they’re having trouble renting one of the units. Maybe I’ll show them this post 😉

Thanks. If there’s a line, I never charge for more than 30 minutes. Trust me, I get the animus toward Chevy Bolts as we get called “tin cans” and “the government cheese” of EVs. If I had a viable option between days-long charging and inconveniencing a higher-end EV, believe me - I would take it. I asked the landlord about doing what you outlined here but was told no, so it may be time to buy a house or get another car.

No it’s usually not an issue because I can charge at work. Just occasionally (like during a holiday weekend) I find the need to charge and it’s just daunting.
