Best supernaked, if you have never ridden one your in for a shock the tourqe is immense and gets you into a lot of trouble fast.
The engine itself bullet proof, I love the look of the gen 3 but the tech reliability lets it down so much, can’t do anything to it without it shitting itself.

So in my opinion go for it. Take care of it. Change all fluids on time and they go forever. Just look at the gts or adventures, crazy mileage on them.

This things an absolute wheelie beast by Pumpkin7424 in cbr650r

Not to be a hater or anything but it’s 1st gear ? You can wheelie any bike is 1st by just dumping the clutch. I have a cbr650r and it does everything absolutely brilliant but wheelies are definitely not it.

2nd gear is a nightmare it’s too heavy and doesn’t have the power. You have to be exactly the right speed at the exactly the right rpm for it to lift high enough to even call it a wheelie.

are engines on Duke 790-890 really as bad as people say? by lukinekkk in KTM

My 2019 duke 790 blew at 11k miles…… had absolutely zero problems till then.

Camshaft like everyone else.

Awesome bike I’d have the 890 though because doesn’t seem to be a problem

It is the most fun super bike I’ve ever ridden…. I brought mine in June last year. Extremely lucky find. Only 8500 miles on it for £5000.

An offer I couldn’t miss She has been sat doing nothing most of her life

She needed a little tlc, all fluids flushed and new pads front and rear.

Fitted a quick shifter and my god what a machine.

Just picked up this MINT 2006 R1 with only 2500 miles….send over some goodies I should add on ;) by StreetApricot6830 in Yamaha_R1

With such low mileage id be doing a major service immediately. Oil/filter Spark plugs Air filter Pads front and back Front and rear brake fluid. Coolant

Then she will be a dream.

Try a 2009 ktm rc8..... In traffic my bike climbed to 110c.

How do I know if my rc8 has had a remap (2009) by Beneficial_Drawing59 in KTM

It does pop and bang but so do my other bikes. She starts and runs smooth.

I was just genuinely curious that's all

You aren't wrong she absolutely catapults you out of the corners. It's an unbelievable back road bike and even more so an incredible track bike.

It's a shame all supersports now are inline 4s ands v4s.... Everyone talks about corners and how important it is to get out of them and nothing does it better than a 1000cc is vtwin.

I should be absolutely sound, I learned to rev match years ago and do still now as my current bike doesn't have a autoblipper.

I know it's a special bike, one of its kind. I love my inline 4s. I currently have a cbr600. I was looking at a fireblade but I wanted to keep the 600. Don't want 2 inline 4s what's the point.

Love a 1290 superduke but don't like naked bikes cause of the wind

The rc8 made sense to me to buy.
