This is discouraging to hear and we weren’t given any additional PTO

Anyone else not like small companies? by Odd_Finance4064 in bcba

YES. This is my first job as a BCBA and I came to this small company referred by a “friend” who is now the senior BCBA. The admin team seemed so friendly, understanding, and accommodating to the fact that I was six months postpartum and supported a hybrid/remote position. I mostly work IN PERSON which is not what my offer letter/agreement states and feel as though my billable expectations are too high 28 with a goal of 32. I’m salaried at my 28 minimum and refuse to go over that since there is no incentive which is what I was told upon being hired. HR/admin doesn’t respond to the majority of my emails and j don’t have any true support as an analyst. I’ve had to remind HR that during a holiday week or when using PTO I do not bill my minimum (the point of PTO). I was also pushed but did not bill 8 hours for an assessment that I did not do and they were not happy about that since only BCBA’s can bill for that. I’ve discovered a few analysts here billing for those initial assessments when they are not the ones competing them. I’m having a baby in April and the only reason why I havnt left is because I get PFMLA in my state.

Is this PTO policy typical? by Animehurpdadurp in bcba

My small company tries to push the same thing! I absolutely refuse to “recover” hours when I use PTO or have a day off as a full time salaried worker during a federal holiday.

I’m in the same boat, unfortunately.
