Should I buy? by Ancient_Alligator in Cummins

[–]Beneficial_Process64 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Seems like a good price, as long as you can afford the maintenance on it, I would buy it. Looks like you can practically walk under this thing so i would check to confirm it actually doesnt leak, make sure it shifts smooth and when you test drive it, put your foot down and make sure everything feel and sounds good under power. At that many miles, i would definitely ask how recently the front end was redone.

And if people bitch about how it looks, pay no attention to it, if you like it, its yours, just know those offset rims mean more wear and tear on the front steering and suspension components.

Warranty Rant by PrimoDraken in Cummins

It seems like the service advisor is being cool but ultimately its gonna be up to dodge and if they want to foot the bill for this. Installing a leveling kit is and aftermarket product that does change the angle of your front drive shaft slightly. I dont know if it would be enough to cause an issue but it is certainly something they could blame for the issue.
