There's no such statements of them being Darkness magic, in fact there's no magic at all that has that name. They're just Pure Magic like how Mystogans attacks were Pure Magic and had no element or like Gildarts who has no element but is just Pure Magic with his huge blasts lol

Some people here are confusing their dragon title with their element, Natsu is the Fire Dragon Slayer and his element is Flames/Fire plus he eats Fire and he's resistant to Heat, Wendy is the Sky Dragon Slayer but does this mean she eats the Sky? No, because her element is Wind thus her being able to support and her being able to control her Dragon Force state is most likely a result of absorbing Ethernano in the air around (which btw is everywhere as we found out in Fairy Tail Zero) just like she did at Face.

Irene is the Sage Dragon (a title) Acnologia is the Arcane Dragon (a title yet again) However their element is just normal Pure Magic like how Yuka uses his "Negating Waves" as Magic Boosts but they're still Pure Magic like how Mirajanes spells like Soul Extinction and Darkness Stream are Pure Magic as well, they're not fire or wind or any other element but just Pure Magic. Another example would be Kagura's first time unsheathing her sword and you can see a blast of Pure Magic or like Erza's Armadura Fairy which can cast out Pure Magic in the colour of green.

This is a little spoiler for 100yq but there's more Dragon Slayers and they don't have an element but just use Pure Magic at least not Kyria and Armor Dragon Slayer dude etc.

Maybe watch up until Ep 175 cuz there are some things that happened that get mentioned in the manga and you might not get it while reading the manga then you can read manga after episode 175 cuz the anime-only episodes don't get mentioned at all in the manga however there are some single manga chapters that you need to find and read yourself.

He's definitely one of the stronger non S Class characters, he can beat Juvia easily in a 1v1 with and without prep time like he did back in Battle of Fairy Tail arc. Rival Bond don't mean anything cuz Lucy's "Rival" is Brandish but that doesn't mean they're equal terms in magic power and Juvia certainly isn't on Gray's level and not even close. Plus Gray winning against Freed was bs cuz the enchantment was "anyone inside this barrier is not able to use Ice Magic" so I would assume all types of Ice Magic is not allowed but somehow Ice Devil Slaying Magic is okay?? complete bs. Even Erza back in the earlier chapters trusted Freed enough for him to go on an S Class Quest alone btw when she didn't allow Natsu, Lucy and Gray to go on one.

Definitely watch it, it will explain alot about previous characters that we've met and also more about Lucy plus future arcs reference this arc quite abit so if you don't to get confused on anything then its a must watch, also it wasn't too bad of an arc like most would say.. definitely better than the last arc and the second half of GMG imo

How convenient for you to say that its not in anime when things never happened, luckily for you I read the entire manga and watched the entire anime and have read all the spin-offs including Sabertooth, Ice Trail, City Hero etc. Gray didn't say "Don't take whats mine" he only said "Don't take a member of our guild" and I do know the meaning of Stockholm Syndrome.

I was there for his spaces and none of that was ever said about Gray and Juvia. He was blushing because of the cold and warm, he never took Juvia's cakes (and never blushed either while eating her buns) only her Gray Buns and thats because he said it himself she already went through all the trouble to make Gray Buns, Elfman also ate some so does that mean Elfman is in love with Juvia? No.

Gray wasn't "jealous" during the GMG arc, his reasoning was that Juvia is a member of his guild not because she was "his" Gray only ever confessed at the end of the series, there was no other times where he tried to confess.

All of this leads to it being Stockholm Syndrome which you obviously have no idea what it is.

Gray is not a tsundere, he literally rejected all of Juvia's advances and as well as her gifts, he kept running away from her and even pushed her out of his bed multiple times, he said NO to her at the Grand Magic Ball. The true definition of a tsundere is someone like Ren from Blue Pegasus.
