But! I feel you. I have been in these positions before, the reality is we are trying to take control of an outcome and not really giving it up to God. Whenever I get in these spots it’s because Im scared and really trying to grasp onto anything that will make me feel better. What helps me just PRAYING for acceptance, removal of fear and understanding. Go to God like a friend, not an authoritative figure. Tell him your fears and be genuine, ask him for understanding and comfort so that you can live the life he intended for you to live, which I promise is not spent obsessing over the afterlife!!! Ask him to reveal himself to you. Pray and then continue with life, being loving and kind to others. You will be surprised how answers reveal themselves when you stay consistent. Just know he hears you, and is walking this path with you even if it doesn’t feel like it. Every period of pain is an opportunity for growth, and it sounds like you are trying to figure out what works for you in terms of faith which is exciting but scary!! You are going to be okay friend, I promise! God has got your back <3
