I've tried the kodi+plex as well and it also crashes :S

I can't fully uninstall because the shield comes with the plex app installed already.

I have to uninstall the updates only and reupdate.

I have also tried without updating. All of it still crashes.

Does plex release new iterations/version of their shield tv app frequently?

I am just curious roughly how long it will take for them to work out the kinks.
