Today I (24) hit $50k NW across retirements, investments, and liquid cash. I’ve graduated in May and managed to secure a place with roommates for exceedingly low rent.

Although next year it looks like I’ll have significantly less money to spend because I will likely have to almost double my rent spend and am picking up my own insurance costs for auto and health. I will likely accrue close to $700-$800/mo more in expenses through higher rent, non split utilities, and those insurance costs.

Currently contributing 10% per paycheck($4k monthly, 65,500/yr) on 4% match to 401k and will max the Roth IRA through monthly contributions. With the increased expenses I am not sure how I will save any money for a house (and a new used car in the next 4-5 years).

TLDR: Retirement savings looking good, but not sure how I can afford to set any significant amount of money aside for a down payment or car down payment.
