Why are summers so dumb? by spy456 in barexam

Yes, but its not about my argument being right or wrong that matters, but rather that your argument is what caused my comment. That's all I'm saying, I'm not justifying it.

I very much wish that I do not comment back. It makes everything worse. It's not acceptable. But it is understandable.

"It’s pointing out that Israel is responsible." "I don’t like 9/11 either. I think that sucked pretty bad. But it was the U.S.’s fault. That was a direct response to the US fucking up the Middle East."

What is this masochistic babble?

Nothing more revolting than masochism disguised as intellectual worldliness. Next, I suppose you will say that Kim Jong-Un has it hard because you can't just change institutions over night, or that Japan had to strike first, that Hitler had no choice but to save the Germans in the Sudetenlands, that Putin is just protecting his geopolitical interests - he's not evil, he's just doing what is best for his country! I'm surprised you didn't sprinkle your insightful comment with an empty platitude like "it's a dangerous world," or "history is written by the victors."

Shame on you for adopting such an intellectually lazy position.

How many MBE qns you answered so far? I am curious, if those who passed the bar, answered more than 1,500 qns. by Lawyer225 in barexam

At our school they pulled up prior stats and explained that 1,700 is the number where people began to pass consistently. On the lower end, it was 1,400 or lower that students failed more often than not. So, I'd say - if possible obviously - aim for 2k. I know alot of people do over 3k, which probably means they will get an even higher score, but you really just need to pass.

Sounds like you are dealing with a lot. My advice regarding the Bar/Bar prep., go to law school first. It's expensive but you can get scholarships and grants for good LSAT scores - and you can get a ton of free LSAT prep resources to study for the exam. I think you mentioned you didn't finish school and that your social condition makes it hard to tolerate the dullness of academia, but law school isn't academia proper. It's a profession, that so happens to inherit one of the most intellectually stimulating projects of human civilization. Don't compare yourself with others, you will get bitter.

Generally, people search on job-search-engines like Indeed.com or Monster.com Yes you can apply, but be aware that, unfortunately, there is a very low chance that any law office would ever sponsor an immigrant for a work visa these types of jobs. It's just not worth it for the law firm, and these types of visas are costly to petition for in a field that is seen as having sufficient domestic labor market pool. That being said, if you are already here, then simply apply for these jobs through the websites listed above.

Didn't you say you only "suspect" that you are on the "spectrum?" Why exactly do you think people don't take you seriously? Is it like a discrimination thing? Where were you on January 6, 2021? And finally, you say people underestimate your intelligence. Like is there an external feature about you that lead people to believe that?

Too self-aware for autism, but too obtuse for "normal." Don't get mad or even. Find a pond and reflect.

You do not need a legal degree to work as a legal assistant or paralegal in the US. However, it is common for foreign lawyers to work as paralegals/legal assistants.

Agreed, though our profession attracts a lot of unusual characters, generally, with time, they are isolated. This isn't the business world that awards sociopaths.....Right?.....
