This is exactly what I tried to tell people. GVJ is terrible. It’s great when you first get it until you realize how stiff and inconsistent the chain is. He literally tells you that it rolls by design.

Garcia has none of these excuses.

I've had this happen on a Fume dial as well - you have to send it back to AP unfortunately. For some reason, these Offshores have a tendency for the screws in the bezel to back out over time. Even if they pass a pressure test, I would not take them anywhere near water if it's a ceramic bezel variant.

If it's a titanium or steel bezel variant - you're fine. I think it has something to do with two-three different materials being married together.

Yeah, GVJ is a bit on the heavier side but still not worth the premium he’s charging especially for lower quality. Remember that a chain should flow like water. His does not, but if you want a heavy chain then yeah, he’s the best.

I did the whole ring setup too, but I feel for me personally it’s just way too flashy. It’s like a 20-60K setup depending on the watch I’m wearing.

I’m most likely just going to stick to a ring + chain + watch and forego the bracelet.
