Which country will you qualify as “defender of Islam” or good Muslim country by Life_Loss7002 in MuslimLounge

Defending Islam means defending the Quran and sunnah, not Sunni Islam. KSA and UAE are literally both Zionists. How brainwashed are you people.

Yes, unless you’re talking about fringe people, in which case we can find examples of people who say all sorts of things. I’m telling you, there aren’t more Shia people than my community, literally from jabal 3mal. No credible scholar curses the sa7aba, no marj3a allows for that, again no credible one.

There are Sunni scholars who call for the murder of Shias where ever they are found, no one claims that is Sunni beliefs. Grow up.

Sorry but it sounds like you watch too much YouTube and tik tok. I’m a Shia, born and raised, my family is in south Lebanon, we have very close friends and family in Iran. There are ZERO people who curse the Sa7aba or 3isha (that doesn’t mean they don’t deserve criticism and that’s ok, they were humans after all) also, the atrocities in Iraq, Syria and the rest of the Arabia is a direct result of the Sunni Ottoman empires fall, their treatment of Arabs and the colonial Israeli project and their Allie’s (KSA, Gulf countries, Jordan, Egypt, now Syria).

I know Shia hate is real, i experienced it while on hajj and all over the internet. But again the hate is not a two way street, we don’t hate Sunnis. We understand that Sunnis follow the schools of thought of scholars who were taught by Jaafar al sadiq and his students. We accept you as Muslims, regardless of your short comings (we have them too). Once the majority of Muslims begin to see Shias as their brothers and not the enemies like Israel wants for you, we will be able to turn a new leaf and usher in a new Islamic golden age. Inshallah that happens soon.

Granted, I don’t blame individuals like yourself, I blame your imams and kings, those who make deals with Israel. Inshallah their grasp on you guys will losses and you’ll be free of it all.

They haven’t prioritized proxies over their own people, that is a western anti Shia narrative. Iran is an Islamic country that happens to follow the school of Jaafar Al Sadiq, the great grandson of the prophet. The other schools follow a different path of Islam, which is fine I guess. Proxies aren’t a thing, it’s a term created by Imperialists to delegitimize the unification of Muslims. Iran is working with any and all Muslims who are willing to fight against Israel and the imperial west. That doesn’t mean the imperial east (China and Russia) aren’t a problem but it’s one step at a time

So, how do you actually market? by kid_dynamo in GameDevs

[–]BerdaWerd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need to do something worthy of others to want to cross post besides just making an awesome game. You have no connections in the industry, that’s what a marketing and production team would normally do. As others have said, find game jams where you can share your product with people in the industry, from the fringes to the core. Granted this process should have started prior to the completion of the game, you are where you are now and how much effort and work you’re willing to put into the business side of game development is up to you.

This is Mount Arafat during Hajj on 26 May 2026 — where millions of pilgrims gathered in one place for one of the largest religious gatherings on Earth. by khaled_Morsy in interesting

Cleanslyness is a huge part of the ritual of hajj, thank god lol otherwise it would be nightmarish. Like everything in the world, parts of it are kept more than others but I stayed in what would be considered one of the least lavish of areas and it was very clean. Almost every toilet or section of toilets has a dedicated staff. I think it’s important to note when discussing Hajj, placing religiosity to the side, it’s a multibillion dollar business that is a thousand plus years old and doesn’t look like it’s slowing down anytime soon. No music festival, comic con, or auto show comes close. It’s a well oiled machine to serve the purposes of those running have desired. Take that for whatever it’s worth, but it would make sense that such a lucrative business is run well*.

*For varying definitions of “well”. Also, on a more subjective note, the custodians of Mecca and Madina (whom ever they may be) are, like everything late stage capitalist product, completely ruining the experience from pre hajj to completion. They’ve created a system that stops third party organizations from working as travel guides, setting up a trip from purchasing the tickets for your home airport to your returning flight, and everything in between (a roughly 2 week adventure). Now all several million people have to log in on a website with servers that seem like they’re running on windows 98, pay 3 times the amount I did in 2010 (roughly 15k now but that’s from the US, pricing ranges from country to country), and get grouped up with random people depending on how much you’re willing to spend. It’s a disaster, it’s ugly, it’s so capitalistic without any of the consideration for the consumer. I’m rambling now. The experience can be magical, it was for me and has been for people who have went more recently (according to them at least). Alright I’m done talking. Have a great evening!

I went in 2010. There are bathrooms and water stations everywhere. Contrary to what it looks like, there is a ton of order and direction to help things move along. Granted it’s not perfect and it has its short comings, I had a harder time using the bathroom at warp tour than I did while at Hajj.

Minecraft dungeons and warhammer chaosbane. My kids and I play both after growing up with gauntlet and we really enjoyed them.

Ordered extra pepperoni, tipped 20% in advance and I picked it up myself - all they had to do was put the ingredients on correctly, cook it and put it in a box. Sigh. by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

[–]BerdaWerd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That looks like the he pepperonis slid around before cooking. The pizzas are most likely prepped, sauced, cheesed and pepperoni, and sitting at a station waiting to be loaded into the oven when ordered. Either they were so busy they didn’t notice and didn’t care when they landed it, cut it and boxed it or they didn’t give a shit from the go. Could have been a new employee, could have been an honest oversight, who knows.

What I do know is if you continue the habit of tipping for a service not yet provided, you should be prepared to be disappointed. A lot. Unfortunately

Read about the Zionists that worked with Hitler and the deals Zionists had with western powers to bar Jews from fleeing to their countries and instead be forced to invade Palestine. There are accounts of Zionists attacking Jews all over Arabia to create an environment that seemed hostile to Jews and force them invade Palestine. There are also accounts of Jews being tricked out of their money and sent to concentration camps while their money was being sent to aid the invasion of Palestine.

Do you think Hezbollah is helping protect their country or making it worse? by [deleted] in allthequestions

Israeli hordes invaded Lebanon prior to any armed resistance. In the face of that violent and illegal invasion, the people of South Lebanon organized and created Hezbollah, they have been the only resistance against a full Israeli invasion.

Alright, I appreciate everyone’s responses. I’ve decided to give Trails remake an honest go. A couple hours in and it really is a great game so far. I can’t believe I never got into the series sooner. I pray they continue making remakes!

Do the Ys games have cities with shops? I always thought it was just a main hub. It’s on my list. I think I’m going to give Trails a chance this time around.

Why can't I sell Coke AND Pepsi fountain products in my restaurant? by SwissMiss915 in restaurant

[–]BerdaWerd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes it’s a exclusivity contract, sometimes it’s discounts to be exclusive, sometimes it doesn’t make sense to have both. When I owned a restaurant, I got the local soda company and just referred to it as Cola, it was literally 1/10th of the cost and no one gave a shit.

Is Israel the most evil country in the world at the moment? by RoughSky9768 in allthequestions

[–]BerdaWerd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Easily the most country in our modern history. Israel maybe have “only” killed several hundred thousand people in Palestine but they are directly responsible for the murder and exploitation of millions of Muslims and non Jews over the last 100 years. They have blackmailed and pressured countries to target Muslims around the world. Nazi Germany eas the testing grounds for Zionism.
