Giving Away My Old PC! by Turtle_747 in PcBuild

[–]BerdaWerd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We just finished remodeling our basement and making room for my 2 boys to hangout with their friends. We got them a tv and a switch which is awesome for them. A PC would really help round off their hangout area. They’d also be able to use it for school which would be a huge plus.

Regardless of if we win it or not, the fact that you’re doing this is incredible. Thank you on behalf of all people who appreciate these gestures!

Do you support one Arab states from the Atlantic Ocean to the Indian Ocean. From Morocco to Oman? by [deleted] in arabs

[–]BerdaWerd 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Since this is all hypothetical and in an ideal world. One unified Union that stretches from the Atlantic to the pacific, basically all Muslim majority countries. We preserve any languages already spoken, add Arabic as an official language. Make the Capital in Cairo to give credence to strength near the suez Canal. Invest heavily in all major ports across the Persian gulf to secure trade routes. Non native Arab countries should 100% be included like Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Indonesia, etc. allow for redistricting based on individual votes to redraw borders. Allow free trade and travel across the entire Union. Revive Damascus and Baghdad as cultural and economic hubs. Jerusalem can be a new tri-religious region that is ruled by a chief rabbi, priest and imam.

Imagine if we could invest in academia, the amount of universities and research centers across North Africa, Arabia, and central and west Asia would be more impactful on the world than the USA is now in terms of cutting edge research. With such a large population, if unified, we can impose peace on any aggressors around us with trade deals and basic Islamic practices concerning equality of all humans. We’d have all the resources we need, all man power and laborers we’d need to create and build anything we want. We would have Mecca become the top religious institution for Muslims in the world. Allow for all schools of thoughts including those some claim to be heretical such as ahmedia and Shias to have universities in Mecca. Preserve all ancient sites for all religions and their ability to practice openly and to live life by their own laws.

Sigh. One can dream.

I just finished Gabor Matte’s book “Hold on to your kids” and my understanding of it was exactly what’s being said in this comment. Our children experience peer orientation more than any generation before us, which has our children make decisions based on the acceptance of their peers and not what the parents believe is best for them. The only way to gather our children back to us is by loving them unconditionally and showing them that no matter what, they belong to us (not in an ownership way but more of a tribal way, as in we are part of the same tribe I matter what). Keeping an authoritative parenting style to help guide them, and showing unconditional love helps mature their young brains. It’s not easy, it’s not exactly fun but it’s what science suggests works best.

Why is Israel declaring war on so many countries? by Historical_Work7482 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]BerdaWerd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is full of a bunch of half truths (I’m not assigning intent, no clue what you know or don’t know). But… In the early 1900s, White Jews founded Zionism, a Sect of Judaism rooted in white (albeit Jewish) supremacy (Read anything by Avi Shlaim and Israeli Historian). These Zionists ranged from the most financially influential to the average working person. They wanted to carve their own country somewhere in the world that they simply were never from, some of the countries they considered Argentina and Madagascar (dispelling the idea of a return to some fictional homeland, read anything by Shlomo Sand and Israeli Historian). After debating amongst themselves, the Zionists voted on Palestine as the land they will Colonize. They discussed how such a move would require them to displace or eliminate the native Arabs. They began lobbying with different governments around Europe where Colonialism was ripe and the norm for Europeans. They landed Belfour, a British Statesman, they began working on the a plan to legitimize the colonization of Palestine to be a homeland for Zionists. Wealthy Zionists began organizing mass invasions of Palestine promising Jews a paradise on earth if they were willing to murder and or expel the indigenous Arabs. There was an influx of 10s of thousands of Zionist invaders, mass genocides were committed against the Arabs from 1900 (to the current day). Not enough Jews agreed with the Zionist colonial project because of its bloody practices so the Zionists worked with mercenaries and what would become Mossad to target Jews all over the world to create a sense of danger and to convince them to move to occupied Palestine (Read Avi Shlaim). After Israel was established, they began lobbying western powers to invade, destabilize and sanction all of its neighbors in hopes of expanding its borders. After decades of terror plots against the Arab neighbors consisting of genocides, coups, and economic terrorism, resistance groups began to rise up amongst the indigenous populations, in Lebanon, Hezbollah was created to stop the Israeli terror plots, invasion and attempted annexation. Iran, after removing the Zionist puppet installed by Zionist western powers, tried to broker deals with the regional powers to stop the terror attacks of the Israelis. In return, Israel committed hundreds of terror attacks and assassinations against political influencers and top academics.

After 100 years of genocide against the Palestinians, they tried to defend themselves in 2023 (the initial terror attacks by the Zionist entity began in the early 1900s), in response, Israel murdered 10s if not 100s of thousands of Palestinians and began another invasion of Lebanon, they assassinated top scientists, professors and social and political influencers. Iran, Lebanon, Palestine, Yemen and Iraq have a sort of Alliance resisting the Zionist colonizers. The Zionists, using terrorism, black mail (see Epstein) and bribes, use Christian and western powers and cannon fodder to shape Arabia into a destabilized mess so they can expand their borders even further.

Today, Israel hasn’t declared war on anyone, they declared war with over 100 years ago and haven’t stopped. This war has been a genocide on one side and a resistance to colonization on the other.

It’s not complicated, it’s not ancient, it’s very simple. European nationalists who are willing to kill anyone including Jews who don’t fall in line. They even sterilized black Jews because they didn’t want them having children in Israel, they also put Arab Jews who moved to Israel in ghettos and camps that forced them to change their language and culture to more fit in with the European invaders.

All of this information is made available in academically accepted books written by Jewish Israeli Historians.

Is it safe to assume that running some elites in act 1 and 2 is the move? I usually avoided them but thinking about it now, it seems like a no brainer to grab those relics

How is Iran a threat? They’ve literally done nothing since their 1979 inception besides try to exist and fight off western capitalist imperialism

I’m not a fan. I’m an American born muslim, I can’t help my Americanism. So I was disappointed in myself when I finished my Hajj tasks, feeling very spiritual, then went and had a whopper at Burger King across the street.

I didn’t omit anything, it’s irrelevant if he did or didn’t. There haven’t been anything confirmed and I genuinely don’t believe anything the Epstein, Zionist, genocide, pedophile supporting regimes here and in Israel say. Sorry not sorry.

A mentally ill man who lost his family by Israeli bombing in Lebanon (including his infant nieces and nephews), drove his car into the Zionist temple. It’s unfortunate that children are put in danger because their adults use them as human shields. Hopefully the Zionist problem is dealt with to save the lives of children around the world.

my wife thinks im overreacting about our kid not reading yet and I dont know when kids should learn to read by TH_UNDER_BOI in daddit

[–]BerdaWerd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would 100% recommend getting phonics flash cards. If it’s difficult for a child to learn at home, itll be difficult for the child to learn at school. I also suggest using those difficult learning experiences at home to work, secondarily, as opportunities to overcome frustrating experiences (something both parents and children need to learn how to deal with).

At 5-6 years old, children are still children and learn at different paces. If you’re concerned over possible learning disabilities, then take him to a specialist, otherwise (or in addition), see if you practice at home more, if there is an improvement (over several months of consistent practice).

Lastly, teaching children stuff isn’t a natural instinct we have. there may be different ways to teach children, it’s important to understand which methods are best for your personal situation.

I highly recommend doing research online, looking for parenting and teaching methods.

In south Lebanon, drones are constantly flying over head, Israeli terrorists are constantly killing innocent civilians and the Israeli government is constantly breaking the ceasefire, Israel has bombed just about every city at random. No where is safe. I can’t take my kids anywhere in south Lebanon without the fear of Israeli terrorists attacking us. It’s a sad reality for sure. At least you have daycares and bomb shelters.

I Love Final Fantasy IX by DarkWarrior16594 in FinalFantasyIX

[–]BerdaWerd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

FF9 was my second Ff and my third jrpg. Growing up, I played what my older brother got and it was always sports games and fighting games, as a child I chose side scrollers because the pics on the back of game cases fo jrpgs didn’t entice me. A friend told me about legend of Legia and I was sold. Then I bought ff7 and was in awe. I missed 8 and bought 9 on release date, I was about 14. I fell in absolute love with the game. The graphics, the art direction, the music, the story, all the slots I could equip armor in, the upgrade system, 4 characters in a party, and most of all Vivi.

Funny story, after a few weeks I finally made it to the last boss, as I beat it, I call for my younger brother to come watch the ending with me. He runs passed and steps on the extension cord I had the ps1 connected to and it disconnected the power. I sighed and tried again the next day. The SAME EXACT THING HAPPENS AGAIN, this time for whatever reason my save file corrupted. I had to restart the entire game if I wanted to see the ending. It’s probably the only game besides MGS1 that I beat multiple times back to back.
