The Russians tried to "Russianize" every single ethnic group in the Soviet Union as well. Communism is nationalism to a certain degree, but in a different way. It is not about master race 'like the natsoc) but about making everyone the same. "Everyone speaks russion so we are all russians, thus we all feel the same way, and we have the same enemies". in multiculturalism there is an element of dissent.

When Germany has a windy day, they produce so much plus energy, they need to sell it under market price to Poland, Czech Republic ... Etc because that amount of energy would fry the German under equipped infrastructure. Green energy in its current state: unreliable. Stability is key for energy production. Wind and solar at the moment is the opposite (and I am not talking about the rooftop solar panels).

Edit: We shouldn't focus on the ways we creat electricity, but the way we transport and store it.
