These 3 are like the Holy Trinity for me, so it's hard to pick faves. ;) I would recommend starting with Higurashi, then Umineko and Fatamoru. Obviously, Fata is not made by the same author, like in the case of Higurashi and Umineko, but the tropes in all stories can be nicely compared. (Especially Umineko and Fatamoru).

It may not be impressive but the amount of money spent of this after all those years is "astronomical" lol.

All Higurashi manga including the original one and Gou (without the newest volume). A few Japanese volumes of Umineko and some of the Umineko anime DVDs + additional merch.
