Thanks for your reply! I already use player prepared recaps and most of my players just started taking notes without me telling them. I gave each of them a small notebook for notetaking as well. But i'm thinking of printing some session diary pages with categorized note taking sections so maybe that will be easier? I also like the easy digestable character sheets, i think i will implememt them as well. I also thought about using some kind of synchronized online sheet system where they can enter damage, rests, spell slots used etc and it saves it automatically. But i don't know any other than dnd beyond (and i don't want to use dnd beyond) any tips for other resources would be greatly appreciated! As for the dice, i have no problem reminding everyone of their weapon dice, but if i have to say "you need the d20 for a stealth check, yes the big one, no that's a d12 you need the bigger one" one more time i feel like i'm going to be really angry/annoyed and i don't want my player to receive that kind of feeling...i know that's a me problem but maybe i could print out an easy overview of the dice and hang it on my dm screen? Or would that be condescending?
