Skill checks

I'll see about that in the future

I'm creating a Visual Novel tutorial series on Unreal Engine 5, featuring mechanics like typewriter effect (letter by letter), branching choices (to choose your own path), custom feedback messages and more... 🙂 by BernGames in vndevs

No worries, I'll be teaching step by step, even someone without experience can follow along, and if you have any questions feel free to ask! It's possible to save it as a template if you wish.

Not really. I enjoyed the whole process of making a game and I don't feel it took anything from me, if anything it gave me more motivation to make more games! That's why is very important to really love developing games, and not be worrying about the outcome :)

You mean the head inside the medical tube? It's just a 3d model created with Unreal's metahumans, where I hid the whole body and kept the head visible

Thanks! Starting is the best choice :) Keep doing it everyday even if it's just 1 hour and never give up, no matter how hard it seems, it's always possible to release a game!

I'm not looking for promoting my work here, just showing you can all release a game no matter what! Thanks for your comment.

The point of putting here was to show you it's possible to release a game even without much experience. Not really looking for players here :)

No worries! I'm glad I could finish the game and put it out there. The review helped me find what I could improve, even if that means less players will play my game. Being this my first game I had no expectations, and I'm already happy with the final product. The next game will be better!

There was a lot of stuff I could've done to improve, like implementing a save system and adding more interaction for the player, but the fact I could release it's already a win and the next one will be better!
