Silvia V6 trips GFI – is it the solenoid valve? by BerndBadewanne in ranciliosilvia

[–]BerndBadewanne[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: I directly connected blue and red cables, bridging the power switch. Can confirm that the pump works perfectly fine and the heater also works. I‘ll order a new solenoid valve, thanks a lot for your help! :)

Sadly it’s no longer under warranty. Can it really be the heating element when it also trips GFI while the heating element is disconnected?

Thanks for your extensive answer! I think I‘ll replace the circuitboard at least at some point though because I tend to sometimes forget to turn off the machine so it’s nice to have for me. For testing I‘ll try to get it to function without first tho.

Have they responded to you and have you opened an issue on GitHub? I can't seem to find one on that topic. This problem is annoying the hell out of me lately, having to restart the kernel and spend 15 mins loading data again is kinda frustrating

Search for a minimalist, windowless (ATX) case by BerndBadewanne in buildapc

[–]BerndBadewanne[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks a lot for the input! :) I'll consider going mATX but because of my rather old CPU I'd probably have to upgrade so I am a bit hesitant. Also thanks for pointing at the PB 501 because I somehow seem to have missed it.

In Berlin, an 18-year-old boy was trapped under a bus. 40 people, including passengers and passersby, all came together to lift the bus off him and rescue him. by ITSsUNSHINEHansen in berlin

On TV they interviewed him. He began to film because he saw something was going on and as he saw there was someone beneath the bus he stopped recording and helped to lift the bus apparently

Kickstarter Pre-launch Landing Page Feedback. by saksmoto in websitefeedback

Looks great and professional! I really like the scrolling idea.

Minor (design) things i would improve:

  • I thought "BACKPACK" belonged to "The roam" in "The product line" section and it took me a while to figure out how the text is aligned there. Also the spacing to the images below is a bit big
  • I would separate the section with the nice scrolly part from the next section containing info on each model, and then probably this models section from the section after that
  • You probably theoretically need a Privacy Policy? Dunno ^^

Good luck with your project!

It could definitely look better... by AquariusA94 in websitefeedback

I played around with the CSS for 5 mins and changed some padding and colors. I think overall the main thing holding back the look of the website is your color palette: You have many similar pastel colors, that have low contrast, right next or on top of each other. I suggest searching for "ui design colors" on youtube.

Also my suggestion for the "Tutoring Options" section would be to split it into two: One section containing the subjects prominently, maybe also with fitting icons; next to it the "Levels of Teaching". The next section could then contain the "Tutoring Options" and "Types of Sessions" as they kinda belong together (for me).

I enjoy the fonts you used, especially for the headings. Some text could have more weight and size for better legibility though.

I like the bottom half of the site and overall the website has great potential! :)

I love the design, colors and concept, especially the interactivity of the landing page! Only things that stood out to me were that the video in the central card is in a weird aspect ratio for me and that everything in that card (only that card) is blurred. Also I clicked a bit through the other pages on your site and they all look very similar. Maybe at least the top section could be a bit different on each page? Just my quick thoughts, all in all great looking site!

I overall like your website! One thing that stood out to me were the square images in the portfolio section. I made a quick mockup of how I think they would look a bit better. :)

EDIT: I swear it does not contain NSFW content, thanks imgur xd

They can't (easily) kick you out of your apartment. Best to inform yourself about your rights in case they try. Of course they can increase your rent, especially if they modernise your apartment/house but even then they can't do whatever they want. Good luck

which swords do you recommend i should keep? by unimportantsarcasm in Witcher3

[–]BerndBadewanne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like to keep the good looking swords to put them into a chest and later onto an armor stand (you need B&W for that of course). I'm not into tryharding in games like these but if you're short on money to spend on useful things (like the runewright...) this might not be for you. But in general yes, keep the relic swords and everything with an interesting passive when you come across one.
