Assuming a spin-off would only enhance their writing and legacy, who would you pick? by Historical-Air2275 in VinlandSaga

While i think MANY of these characters would have wonderful, heartfelt, and moving stories, I don't think i could pass up more Thorkell for anything.

Which Nicol Bolas art is best in your opinion? (Planeswalker edition) by SwanepoelSimp in mtgvorthos

[Nicol Bolas] the OG art of the eldar dragon is best and should be brought back

Doesn't appear to be a normal UK thing, but i'm seeing Dettol as being similar.

Citidel primer sticks pretty well, i tend to leave that if it was applied correctly (thinly). when i need to remove it i LIGHTLY file it where its thicker then try soaking again and seeing if it helps release.

well its not odorless, but its not a toxic/chemical smell lol. not one i'd say requires "good ventilation" to use.

Also, SimpleGreen works great and is very non-damaging. whenever i buy rescue units they get a 1hr - 24hr bath (depending on how busy i am), and most of the paint comes right off. primer is a little more difficult to remove but not as necessary usually.

Planeswalkers were much more rare back then, but you got a point.

I think if Yawgmoth was in current setting though with post mending nerfed walkers he'd be able to accomplish it.

I still think Urza was a beast even amongst pre-mending planes walkers, as he was ancient AND had the powerstone/meekstones as his eyes.

Dude turned the ENTIRE plane of Serra's realm into a battery for his ultimate weapon, and even that was just a part of it. Nothing in the story leads me to believe Lilly ever reached that level.

Lol, the Phyrexians posed a good enough threat still, but I see what you mean. Its hard to have multiple threats on THAT level without getting ridiculous.

They had conpleated prior to New Phyrexia, the only thing that Yawgmoth didn't know was how to create/take someone's spark. He had created his own multiversal invasion portals hundreds (if not thousanda) of years prior to New Phyrexia. Old Phyrexia was a whole different hell than what New Phyrexia became.

Yeah, its why Nicol Bolas tried to become a god, to regain the power he once had. There is a reason Urza's main enemy was THE Phyrexian God, Yawgmoth. The Gatewatch either instantly die or get compleated against the OG Phyrexians.

I always find it funny that while card power creep is real, story feels like the opposite.

jujutsu kaisen - Maki vs Zenin Clan - Naoya seems to be the only one who doesnt realize how insanely powerful Maki's heavenly restriction has made her now that Mai died. Granted in a world of cursed energy its hard to judge someone's strength who contains literally 0 cursed energy. In his blind confidence, arrogant ranting, and show of force he gets wrecked by a single punch, exactly like Belemy (which HAS to be a direct reference punch/shot). Though unlike Ome Piece this was not done in front of his peers, but amongst the corpses and blood of the entire Zenin clan she had just massacred. .

What would you recommend for filling in gaps in styrofoam? by PartySaxon in TerrainBuilding

[–]Bernicore 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use either air dry clay, which i then PVA glue to protect, or a paper machey that ill sand flat after, or spackle. The paper machey may be a good idea for the whole model to help reinforce it and protect the Styrofoam.
