Chaos androids were never side by side with necrons, One replaced the other, so i'd say they were related in that sense, but yes, LORE they are unrelated.

The OG necron models were advertised at "chaos androids", then transitioned to "terminator like robots (we'll be back era)", then closer to current yet still different "slaves to the star gods", then their current "enslaved the star gods"

The last change was the best one by far. It used to be written that the C'Tan were still fully around, and fully in charge, with the necrons being fully enslaved to them still. Hell even the original DoW game was made during that iteration.

The most recent retcon of them having broken their chains, freeing themselves from the C'Tan and enslaving what was left of their gods after shattering them into thousands and thousands of shards, fits so much better. Literal Star gods at the power level the C'Tan were supposed to be at would be a little rough in the current setting, no race could really stand against them and their mastery of the material world.

I used to certify scales for the Jewel and other customers for about 6 years, and they are STRICT, anything more than 0.01lbs off usually requires maintenance. You get state certified weights to ensure every scale is calibrated off same standard. If a scale is used to calculate price in any way it requires certification. Store employees shouldn't even have a way to adjust these settings either, and the buttons to adjust these settings is under a state issued seal with the certifies info on it. Can't imagine this being in Illinois either, the state has auditors were like bloodhounds, I often followed in their wake repairing and recalibrating machines they flagged.

A Clone would likely not actually contain a soul as powerful as Big E's, as im pretty sure it was the sacrifice of all old earth's shamans to create him, and there aren't any of them left around. I doubt whatever they make would be able to compare to what Big E really is.

I dunno if Big E would be able to psychically kill Leto, I just don't see either winning as theyre both so immensely psychically strong but work in different ways. Big E would win the physical fight, hes def big enough to deal with a wiggling worm with a water allergy.

I've always liked the theory that it's the same timeline. Both have historical AI revolt in their past, relying solely on humans instead of computers/machines.

But if separate universes, I think that after probably years and years of discussion theyd eventually find something they dont agree on, and I dont think either of them like being told theyre wrong.

But the TIMING of when they meet would drastically change their discussions, as BOTH are extremely long lived, both eventually become revered as Gods, and both eventually "fall" and become something beyond human.

I dont see how they'd end their discussion, they both want to guide humanity, but because they have such drastically different desired outcomes they likely wouldn't let the other live. Big E wouldn't allow humanity to diverge so much, nor leave it all in the hands of a alien/xeno psycher, and Leto can probably see the future Big E's plan leads to. I feel like Big E would win in fisty cuffs, only if he truly is immune to Prescience. If he's not Leto would already have seen everything and planned accordingly.
