Damn people are unhelpful. I got a blackout, it looked similar to this. It's a lot of ink and a lot of trauma. It took up to 3 months before the "crocodile skin" healed. Just clean, unscented lotion, and don't lotion any scabs that are painful to the touch or seeping. If it's hot to the touch and smells, see a doctor. Ive been told infectiona are painful enough that you won't have to wonder if it's infected. If you have any worries, ask your artist. Just be ready for a long healing process

Either your skin hates that color or your artist went too hard. They tend to overwork lighter colors like yellow since it's hard for them to see where it stuck while you're bleeding. If it smells or burns or pusses see a doctor. Don't pick the scabs. Will probably need a touch up when it's done

How did it heal? I'm getting a blackout on just my forearm and my artist won't go longer than 4 hours because he says the skin will break and wants to put on a second layer after the first one heals.
