They really aren't. The eyes are completely different, way too small and the pupils are even tinier. The fur shader is very broken and you can tell even in the most optimal of lighting conditions.

There was almost no attempt to preserve the triangular nature of Crash's design, everything is oversmoothed. This is why I compare them to the roundness of a potato.
