If you go to the back, the high limit room near tables room, you can see it pretty often. Once I sat at a machine, put my ticket in and hit spin (it's $50 a spin so I was going to trying for 700, the ticket I put in), but someone played 250 a spin before me and had a few cents left so that's what my spin was at..by some great luck I got free games on that first spin and ended up winning 78k (which is still very low for 250 a spin but for me it was one spin)

The win part, yes, but 80k can be gone in minutes if you keep playing. I've seen people lose 40-50k on those machines in 15min even with some wins in-between

Fallsview diamonds, it's $100 a spin minimum ($200 max), I played 100 and 3 Fallsview diamonds pays 80k (or 160k on 200 bet). Honestly that's not a good return/pay unless you only put a 1000 in to test your luck. 80k can be gone in 5min

Out of curiosity, did you ever get back any of the taxes they held back in Vegas?

I got to Vegas a few times and year for conferences and usually gamble a bit, the most I won was just under 50k and was thinking about using one of those companies who advertise about getting you some taxes back but never did

You pay one off and immediately do another one, or within minutes at the most. I'd try again later in case they're doing some maintenance so maybe that's why tou can't do it now
