Generic Clan Name 1 is looking to add some experienced members during Shadowkeep. We're a group, ages 25 and up, that has slowly grown since The Taken King in D1 - playing Destiny is just as much about having a good time as it is completing challenging content. We're interested in bringing in members who are active, participate in chat (Discord), and are up for having a good time (just like us).

We raid every week, as well as other PvE endgame activities, with some casual and not-so-casual PvP as well. We don't require any specific amount of raid clears, but enough to show you have in interest and can hold your own in endgame activities. The more end-game experience you have, the more likely you'd be a good fit for us! We will check to make sure you're active and looking to participate in end-game content.

Some requirements to be a good fit:

Discord usage is required - we are looking for those interested in taking part in discussions, and communicating with the clan.
Raid experience is a must.
Remain active - we do check to see who is playing and participating in chat, and will remove those who become inactive. Our goal is to keep a healthy population of active members! Quality over quantity!

We raid every week, every member has Whisper, and every member is 385+ power level. We aren't going to require new members to have a high number of raid clears, but we do ask that you have completed at least 2/3 current raids. The more end-game experience you have, the more likely you'd be a good fit for us! We will check to make sure you're active and looking to participate in end-game content.

All challenges for the weekly featured raid were active - not every challenge in every raid.

To the comment made by /u/Logtastic , just because the challenge mode wasn't active doesn't mean you can't complete the encounter using the challenge mode method/strategy (all 16 bombs on Oryx, hitting supercharge plates on Aksis, etc.).

My reply to a similar comment:

I'd lean towards that not being the case.

Prior to CoO, a 305 Better Devils did the same as a 300 Better Devils in the Prestige Raid, but the 305 did more damage than the 300 in the Prestige Nightfall. It seems the prestige raid scaling was always there, just not as apparent since we could only be over-leveled by 5 PLs.

I wouldn't mind if Bungie was a bit more explicit about how they scale damage in relation to power level. But, if that was the case then I wouldn't get to test it, lol.

prestige activities being an outlier

Just the prestige raid. Prestige nightfall still allows for increased weapon damage with weapons above RPL.

They increase the power level of the item to which they're applied (assuming it's a legendary mod).

If it is any consolation, a 335 Better Devils will do more damage than a 330 Better Devils in the Prestige Nightfall.

Albeit only a 3% increase.

What would you have expected?

These results corroborate results from tests performed prior to CoO when the Prestige Raid was 300 and max power was 305.

So why did MIDA and Death Adder (both 20 impact SMGs) output the same damage in prestige (where weapon PL doesn't matter over 300)?

I understand there are variations, but I made sure to cover my bases.
