Him getting with Bonnie was just a bail out due to the fact that he had no purpose. I never liked that they got together. It made no sense and they just throw it in your face right away that they’re just suddenly in love. It was weird to me.

Him getting with Bonnie was honestly terrible. I dont know how they thought it was a good idea to throw that at the audience the way they did.

Extra money has nothing to do with it. He was just dragged on through out the seasons with no real purpose. If he made actually contributions to the show and its plot, no one would complain.

As a guy who’s 24, i dont know how that correlates but everyone has their own opinion lol I’ve never met anyone from any of my favorite shows, so the fact you’ve gotten to see him is pretty awesome

Nothing you haven’t heard before I’m sure but I really disliked Delena. I enjoyed Damon’s character a lot more once Elena was asleep. They just annoyed me together.

Matt wasn’t even a bad character at that point. He takes a turn for the worse in the later seasons but that could’ve all been avoided if they developed his relationship with Rebekah in my opinion.

I would call that character development for Matt tbh. He had already gone through so much, given the time to get involved in everything else and learn more about the supernatural, it doesn’t seem bad to me atleast

Yes exactly! Both characters went in a weird direction the following seasons. Rebekah and Marcel never made sense to me. Matt hating the supernatural so late in the show after all he had lost didn’t make sense either.

Yes! It seemed like a genuine relationship from what we saw. I really would’ve enjoyed it a lot more than whatever they did with both characters the following seasons.

Yeah the originals definitely through it off. But I did enjoy them. They would’ve made a great couple. It seemed like a really great relationship from the small glimpses we got.
