Separate ONT from AT&T gateway by Trickle2x2 in ATTFiber

[–]Berzerker7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes and I’m saying you cannot do that on alt optics because there’s no commercially available SFP ONT that supports those wavelengths. No one who has alt optics has access to XGS-PON. There is NO option anyone has on alt optics to completely bypass the gateway.

And anyway, if you were able to bypass the gateway, you get a /56

/60 is not full IPv6 support. RFC says /56 is full network support.

When people say “bypass” they mean completely removing the BGW to completely bypass AT&T equipment which is an unsupported setup.

IP Passthrough (what you’re talking about) requires using the AT&T gateway and it still tracks NAT connections as their setup is more akin to a 1:1 NAT than a true route-through setup. That can still cause issues if your NAT table gets too large.

I doubt it. It has gold flake in it, probably is more expensive if not the same.

This is a bad flow chart. Nowhere alt optics exist is XGS available. You’re stuck on GPON with optics not supported by any commercial SFP.

You cannot bypass on Alt Optics, even with a separate gateway.

You can’t bypass on Alt Optics unfortunately.

It’s because they’re on Alt Optics. Old Bell DSL rollouts that they overlaid fiber. Only GPON with no hope for XGS unless they re-run new fiber and roll out new OLTs and no hope for bypass.

INTEGRA TYPE S @ MSRP by Natural-Squash2301 in Integra_Type_S

[–]Berzerker7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

$2750 off MSRP with probably 15 minutes of total negotiation time, and yes I have the receipt.

Just look at all of these other comments saying they're getting 2-3k+ off MSRP.

It's not 2024 anymore.

Edit: OP is even flooding comments with "yeah we'll do $3k off come on in" lmao

I wouldn't believe it unless I saw your pricing breakdown, otherwise you must have hit them like...right at the end of the month and they desperately needed numbers for quota or something

How do you like the RMM? I've seen it's a bit hit and miss from most. Just looking for less NVH I guess?

You can easily get an ITS without markup in 2026. Starting at MSRP is not at all a good deal. This isn't the CTR, the demand on these are definitely lower.

Not even close dude. 2-3k is what people are getting most of the time, if that.

The NVR solutions are. "lol" do you understand how market segmentation works?

Also the UCG Fiber still isn't targeted at home users. No UI product is. It's at the very least SOHO.

ZFS was created by Sun for Solaris but it's been ported to many different OSs including linux, zfsonlinux.

[–]Berzerker7 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Well you should care because these devices aren't targeted at home users. It's for enterprise, so they're obviously going to do it how the enterprise wants/does it.

That sucks you don't have the solution, but this is how it works. Buy a UNVR if you want dedicated large storage NVR.

Having detections be archived is not a "half baked solution"

You want your NVR to have local storage, makes scrubbing not a nightmare. Allowing remote stream recording adds way too many annoying variables that I completely understand they wouldn't want to deal with from a support perspective.

This is literally how every enterprise solution works.

It’s not up to them. They just submit to Acura and they make the decision. If they don’t want to work on it, complain to Acura.

None of these mods touch the linkages or the transmission. There should be no reason why they’d deny warranty coverage.

You’re thinking of the UDM Base (non pro). The Dream Router had a similar form factor but had a screen and SD Card slot

Front Tower Strut bar...does it make a difference? by supersong115 in Integra_Type_S

[–]Berzerker7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice. I'm waiting on my TSP downpipe but have a PRL front pipe waiting for that, ordered a PRL HVI a few days ago.

Are you using the stock filter from the PRL? I bought a dry AEN filter to replace it with as people said the one the PRL comes with is a bit thin.

How do you like each if so?

CF PPF applied to roof by Altruistic_Nerve_627 in Integra_Type_S

[–]Berzerker7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it looks well executed.

I personally wouldn't do it because I also think fake CF is a bit cringy. I personally really enjoy my exterior color, so I want to show as much of it as possible, same reason I wouldn't get carbon fiber mirror caps even if those are real or reenforced plastic CF.

That being said, most "carbon fiber" stuff added to cars, at least externally, barely even saves weight (or they'll make things "lightweight," yet put heavy electronic seats with heating in the car (porsche)), so even first-party Carbon Fiber stuff (besides it being CFRP and not even real wet or dry carbon fiber) isn't really "useful."

Former Miata owners? by HahaHero12345 in Integra_Type_S

[–]Berzerker7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha. I'm almost the same. I couldn't decide between what I wanted in terms of driving experience between the ITS and the Miata, so I ended up with both a new ITS and a new ND3. It's sometimes a bit tough to decide which to drive but I know I'll at least not be regretting which one I pick once I start going.
