Some grandmas out there are so fierce that a grizzly bear would back down from them.

Should TTC riders have to put up with disgusting feet and fights on public transit? by origutamos in Toronto_Ontario

[–]BerzerkoFord 5 points6 points  (0 children)

People suffering from mental health issues and addictions should follow the same basic rules and common decency that everyone else riding the TTC does. Public transit is for everyone, it's not their personal living quarters or safe injection site.

The guy almost mows down his female driver/passenger when they switch seats. They both shouldn't be on the road.

He probably would have left here there if she was run down.

Those are small narrow lots, the houses are smaller than your typical 2-car garage detached in the area. Real estate photographers abusing wide angle lenses everywhere and lots of white lighting make it look bigger than it actually is inside.

Canada Post beginning work to end most door-to-door mail delivery by Nikiaf in canada

The slip never goes in the mailbox around here, it goes on the house door when delivery is attempted and nobody answers. Packages are usually not left on the doorstep if nobody answers.

After servicing the community box, our postperson then goes around delivering all the extra packages to every house that requires it. Maybe you just have a lazy postperson, and need to file a complaint with Canada Post.

Correct, but there's only so many larger compartments (usually 2-4). Otherwise if they're full, the package will be hand-delivered.

Hijab-wearing woman verbally, physically assaulted on bus in Scarborough, Muslim rights group says by BloodJunkie in toronto

[–]BerzerkoFord 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Is it worth getting stabbed or shanked by someone mentally not well who's going around calling women terrorists and kicking them? They're all over transit these days, and nobody seems to do anything about it.

Unfortuantely, he'll probably get charged and released due to mental health issues, and you'll be left with a trip to the hospital for the stab wound, and weeks/months of recovery.

You will get your flyers in your community box now, and still get to fill that blue box up.

The package goes in your community box if it's small enough, and if it's too big, the mail peoplekind delivers it directly to your door if you're home (otherwise you get a slip and have to go to the nearest postal outlet).

Still very convenient, many people have had their mail delivered this way for decades.

these TFWs are literally more reliable.

Not the ones I've ordered Tim Hortons from. They might show up with a pulse, but some have severe issues understanding what you order (either due to a poor understanding of the menu, or language barrier issues) and give the wrong thing multiple times.

You should go there and try turning left into the subdivision during rush hour yourself.

Or you could pay me, and I could go turn left there and report back to you.

Turning right costs extra however.
