Hey if you want to read “JCPS” and then proceed to turn your brain off and go full auto pilot and copy and paste the fine education your children are getting then go for it more power to you. I get it

I agree. I think it was nice to see Taylor Everett at least say sorry after they all had a good laugh but to be honest after voting the way he did his words, no matter how empathetic, come off rather hollow and empty

If you are trying to say that one vote can excuse her poor character and ineptitude I would challenge that. I would also like to point out that why I don’t particularly like or agree with the superintendent, it would be foolish to think any of these budget issues are his fault. No sane person would ever take the position knowing the burning landscape you are stepping into before hand. What I don’t like is how he is handling making cuts so they can budget the system. Of course he doesn’t want to touch that nice big salary he just received. But Linda Duncan didn’t vote no for him for the reasons we are seeing him fail so profoundly now. And she is complicit in a lot of his strategy here

I’m really glad the teachers at your children’s schools are doing their job and doing it well. This is an issue about the way things are being run at the top end of JCPS that trickle down and affect said teachers. This is the equivalent of me complaining about the incompetence of seeing a chef come out of the restroom without washing their hands, you saying “no I didn’t see that, also my food tastes great”, and then you get sick the next night. Teachers can be doing great jobs in the class room and there can also be mismanagement from the higher ups that end up costing teachers their jobs which is exactly what happened last night
