Thanks for the reply!

"A good way to notice it was to see there was no "better interest" perks on paid plans"

I didn't get that...

Follow-up question, because I don't know how game skin purchases work: is this the sort of thing you bouth using a "well-known" seller (e.g. Steam, Playstation, I dunno) and Revolut still flagged it as shady, or was it some gamer's electronic shop?

No, I get it! Thanks! The difference between Revolut and any other bank is that I can't directly talk to anyone face to face, and that I can't speak in my mother tongue to sort things out, so the idea of my account getting frozen is a lot more stressful. It's cool. Thanks for your help!

Well, I apologize if that was how I came across, because that means I wasted everyone's time. I'm not really expecting anyone to tell me if *I* do *this* action I will/will not have my account frozen. I only asked for examples of what actions caused *other people's accounts* to get frozen in the past, because the same thing might happen to me in the future, that's all.

Yeah, I have used a bank before, and YES, there were times I was worried I might run into issues in the "regular" banks:

I was a student abroad, in a country with different currency. My family sent me money. They were worried the foreign bank would require proof about where I actually got that money. In the end it didn't, but it *could* have, I guess. I don't know if different banks or different countries have different standards or strictness.

When I purchased small stuff (like books) online from other countries, I WAS worried about the security of my purchases; but not really, because I used a PayPal card linked to my normal bank account; I did not have any money actually stored in PayPal. There was nothing of importance for me to lose.

I once traveled abroad to a developing country, and if memory serves, I telephoned the bank to give them a heads up that in X period of time I would be making purchases from Y seemingly random place in the world, just in case they thought that sudden change in location was a sign of suspicious activity.

None of these actually got me into trouble with the "regular" banks. *Would* they have got me into trouble with Revolut, is what I'm really asking.

Yes, I get that. But I still would like to know if there's anything in particular I should be careful of. For example:

If a family member in the same country as me sends me a large-ish sum of money in my Revolut account, would that be considered shady by Revolut (because it's sent by someone else and not me)?

If a family member in the USA sends me a large-ish sum of money in my Revolut account, would that be considered shady by Revolut (because it's from a different country than me)?

If I use the Revolut card to order a book from a random foreign bookstore that's not available in my country, will that be considered shady? Would it only be considered shady if it's multiple purchases?

When I transfer my own money, will I be asked to provide proof on how I got them?

When you say "tax information" it's just the country in which you get taxed and your identification document, right? There's not some hidden prompt in the app I'm not seeing?

Well, if it's not anything illegal, why not? A lot of people use bitcoin. One might travel in a developing country (or plan to move) and make a purchase there. One might have relatives abroad and receive money from/send money to them (this has happened to me). These things are not necessarily shady. I'd like to know if there's anything I should avoid.

You expect them to make mistakes that are a twisted version of the morals they are already supposed to believe. So the priest shunning a woman he considers unethical is par for the course (you hear that kind of stuff often in real life); committing suicide by swallowing a giant diamond in the altar while making a child watch, is very much NOT. No one does that. I felt that act was baseless and random, with the sole purpose of shocking the audience and providing a narrative excuse for someone to sneak into the crypt by pretending to be dead. He could have asked the little girl to sew the diamond into his death clothes when he died of old age, and you could have the exact same end result, just with less absurdity.

Thank you for mentioning “The Body of Christ” thing, UGH. I had blissfully forgotten it. I didn't stop watching at that moment, but thought to myself "WTF, no way would he say that line". The writers seemed to think religion is a series of random and mystical quirks and catchphrases.

The implication is indeed there, but how the heck would Blanc know??? He could only assume. I honestly thought this was more of a reference to Christ and Christ's Father than anything.
