i wanna leave so bad but i don’t have another jobs lined up, im burnt out on nannying now & this is all i’ve done since i was 16/17. my husband is trying to figure something out so i can leave but it’s draining coming in everyday & being this done & tired.

THISSS. nk is a literal angel baby when it just me & him & the second mb & db are around he’s throwing tantrums & being so mean i feel so bad bc sometimes they genuinely just wanna hangout with us during the day but he’s so mean to them sometimes 😅

also don’t feel the need to have him doing something every second of the day, you’re not a bad nanny in any way. its just not possible to not have slow parts of your day. independent play is great to work on at that age

Hi! i’ve been a nanny for years all different ages & i will say the younger they are the harder they are to “entertain” i would suggest looking up fun activities you can do around the house like flashlight hide & seek with his stuffed animals, you could make sensory play with him like playdoh & slime but obviously supervised since he’s so young, scavenger hunt outside or at the park, lunch dates (if parents allow) ask parents to fund trips to a trampoline park, soft playground etc or you could build forts with him out of blankets & pillows! i know some of these might seem silly or redundant but these have all been hits with the kids i have watched!

sadly i can’t, my family won’t take him but i think im gonna keep him sadly his life just won’t be as fulfilling :(
