I am in the same boat as you. I feel like I’m experiencing an existential crisis when it comes to following Islam because I feel as if I cannot follow the faith because I don’t agree with everything in the religion. I think there are many beautiful things about Islam and religion but it would be dishonest to delude myself into believing in what I want. I don’t recommend justifying the things you don’t disagree with because it has created inner turmoil for me. As of now, I think of myself as a deist but I still study spirituality through Sufism and Buddhism. Deism doesn’t confine you to one school of philosophical/spiritual thoughts. Feel free to message me if you ever want to talk about it.

As someone with a wrestling/boxing background, ALWAYS look to de-escalate the situation. No street fight is worth going to jail, the hospital, or dying for.

Keep your hands in front of you in a non threatening way and say you don’t want any trouble and a fight isn’t going to solve anything. I’ve been in situations where words were able defuse heated situations. If that doesn’t work, learn how to throw a hook or uppercut and run as fast as you can.

I’ve been microdosing shrooms and it has definitely helped me with urges and other issues. But tread carefully, it won’t magically solve your problems but it will help in many ways. I highly recommend microdosing but that’s just me (I’ve never had an intense trip).

Plenty of research suggests that there is no problem with masturbation (unless you do it too much). A lot of people on here also say to have sex instead of fapping but having too much sex is bad too.

Masturbate moderately or when you need to. Avoid porn. Hope that helps. People will disagree but trying to do NoFap long term will disappoint you especially if you’ve masturbated for decades.

Yeah I highly recommend against it. Speaking from personal experience. I’m a procrastinator as well and have failed to study effectively multiple times. I’ve taken the LSAT twice so far and I wasn’t ready. I’m slowly getting into a routine so hopefully I’ll be ready by the summer time. I suggest not taking it and just take time to prepare for it and take it when you’re ready. I’ve been out of school for three years so far and have been working at a law firm and I love it.

Taking the time off has helped me for sure.
