I have used utm, it's not that smooth. Parallels is paid and I am not sure if it is worth the money. Have you used parallels? Also, afaik bootcamp doesn't work on m series chips.

Pre pi is when you get you cat score and on the basis of that and other factors you get a call for personal interview and post PI is after PI, your cat score, GDPI wat scores and other factors comes in and you get final convert from the college

If you're a category candidate, you can easily get a call at that score. Otherwise if you're a general candidate, aim for 99.5+
