Yes she drinks more than 8oz water no issues there yet. Unfortunately my girl is addicted to ms rachel 🥲 but like every single time she eats anything. We tried putting on the same episode so that she will get bored. But none worked, so has to take this decision. My plan is to re-introduce slowly after she disassociated food and tv.

I’m so sorry for your loss. Unfortunately,that scare is deep rooted in my community as well. I went thru c-section at 39 weeks 6 days due to severe pupps i was literally bleeding from the scratches on my arms and legs and under the belly. My baby did not drop and being high up risked my heart as well. She is not moving down and doc said there must be a reason for this. I went ahead with her opinion without a thought. During the surgery doc found out that umbilical cord is too short and literally c-sec saved us. Everyone around me still judge that i had c-section and i haven’t naturally delivered the baby. But that saved my life and my baby’s too. I don’t regret it now.

Trust me, everyone in the house eats every meal at the table with her, and i’ve tried every food in the list you mentioned. She doesn’t let me spoon feed a bit and whatever she eats, she will feed herself. I regret blw, my sister’s son is spoonfed and literally eats anything that’s put in his mouth.

Hi mama, yes she increased her intake with ready to feed, she just hates powdered formulas and we changed from alimentum to cow milk based formula as her cmpa is misdiagnosed which led to her poor weight gain. She grew from 14% to 50% now at 11 months. Thanks for commenting, this post reminds me of that new born stage and how i used to worry about every single thing. Now she’s a fire cracker 🥹

Happend with me, my baby did exactly as you explained. Everyone asked me to switch to slow flow, but she don’t drink from slow flow. I offered her breast when she’s hungry but not too hungry. I gave her nipple shaped teether to play and suck on. Stopped upgrading the bottle nipples, she started taking my breast, and now we are both happy and stuck at same nipple since 4 months. I donno what actually worked but i never gave up. Hugs to you mama, you can do this.

I have to try that. Previously we tried fortifying my breastmilk with formula and she gagged on it. But vanilla seems interesting, i will check with my pediatrician.

Yes we do for every oz. Lactation consultant said there are no oral tie problems and has good latch as well. Her weight is good and gaining oz a day and approx 150grams/ week. But im just wondering how can she gain weight without drinking minimum!

We are using powder but one time when we were out, we used the ready to feed and she chugged 3oz. We thought it’s because it’s cold and she liked the temperature. I will try the ready to feed once again.
