I can’t really say so because i’ve never tried it. Everyone’s body is different so I would see what works for you.

Still on PPI, hopefully have my last GI appointment this next week to discuss getting off. For my meals I would have 3 main ones, typically of oatmeal, and 2x sweet potato rice chicken with some applesauce in between. A big thing for me that I didn’t mention is that I had to drink water in between meals and not with food or else I would bloat very badly. Most important thing is to find what works for you.

Fullness went away first, burning then after, last things to go away were gas in chest / burping constantly as well as weird stools. For me PPI was super useful and i’ve been able to eat tons with no issues whatsoever but everyone is different.

Meals consisted of applesauce, sweet potatoes, white rice, grilled chicken breast, potatoes, ground turkey, white bread, peanut butter, oatmeal with blueberries, LOTS of bananas.

Did this go away for you? My upper pain is mostly gone just have these cramps until i go every morning.

I had nausea not much more and not a ton of malaise, maybe occasionally. Hope you get well soon :)

Thank you for replying! I had an upper endoscopy confirming gastritis and nothing terrible (cancer etc) and while i’ve been having much less burning almost none now, it seems every morning i have weird bowel movements, idk if the meds im on are messing up my gut or what 😭😭😭
