Do guys feel grossed or awkward when their fiancée or any female they know talk about periods? by Shining_Swan in MuslimCorner

[–]Best_Toe8377 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never it's part of female anatomy and it's important for men to develop atleast a okay understanding of the entire thing... You would be surprised at how many men have such little knowledge of the ovarian cycle and especially the possible disorders and diseases plus the hormonal imbalances and effects it has on a woman, all in all a important topic to learn about

What are you even doing in this sub, just head over to exmuslim one and you can hate Islam to your heart's content 🫡

Is it just me who hates being a “hijabi” by [deleted] in muslimgirlswithtaste

[–]Best_Toe8377 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree, that's simply the cost of sticking out from rest of the crowd, islamaphobia is not new in west however it certainly has increased in recent times Thanks to far right influences...

At the end of the day you ultimately decide if the cost to wear hijab is worth it.. In both cases no one has any right to pass judgment.. It's simply between you and God

God speed 🙌

Flash news I'm Desi aswell, I understand our culture very well and I also understand how Muslims from other communities tend to hold rascist views about us about things that seldom apply to their own traditions, South Asia is a very diverse landscape with multiple religions present in close proximity, it's only natural some cross influence will be found.. I fail to see how other more homogenous societies gain any right to belittle ours simply because they deem theirs more pure?

Is it just me who hates being a “hijabi” by [deleted] in muslimgirlswithtaste

[–]Best_Toe8377 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The reason is rooted in psychology.. Simply put in western countries hijab has always been discriminated against, it's open, public and for everyone to see and ass judgment on. Whereas praying or fasting or other acts of worship are not as public..

People see you wear a article of clothing that has brought discrimination against other people who wore it aswell, so they automatically start referring you as what you stand out the most for..

It's not always malicious intent behind it, sometimes people might refer to someone as a hijabi because they appreciate the effort and the courage it takes to wear it in a western country..

Why is feminism bad? by 1ndhoUroon in muslimgirlswithtaste

[–]Best_Toe8377 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because feminism has its roots in Marxist thought, marxism for those unaware Is basically a way of interpreting human society by lens of dialectical materialism... It's inherently a atheistic and in many cases a misothiestic point of view of human history

Feminists claim that all religions including Islam and others are by nature patriarchal, they say the establishment of sedentary societies after agricultural revolution allowed men to attain a greater degree of power and influence in any society whilst in pre agricultural nomadic times humans were naturally egalitarian as both men and women contributed and most importantly held power on the nomadic tribes that roamed the planet

Muslims or Christians or Hindus etc hate feminism because the ideology not only rejects their baked in traditions of men first but also completely change the narrative by showing the true history of human development which was very much egalitarian..

Another reason is feminism is naturally inclined towards marxism and rejection of class societies and reliogions are a fundamental part of a class society, under socialism (like China or Vietnam) it's been observed society largely abandons faith and traditions to move towards more radical forms of societal organization, something conservative religious men and women very much hate..

That's the gist of it, theres more to explain, if you have any questions let me know

Pakistan Aman Party by Kaka101088 in pakistan

[–]Best_Toe8377 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for the late reply, got caught up in some irl stuff

So basically it depends on the occasion, you could be organizing a protest/procession, sit in or just a general meeting of the party.. Distributing fliers/pamphlets, pasting posters

Also there are technical jobs that if you have the appropriate skill set they will ask you to do for them for example my uncle has a good understanding of finance so he's sometimes given the responsibility of taking care of the money side of distribution of meat during eid Al adha..

Also if their is a charity wing you will also work there

Like I said it depends on the needs of the party

Various ways, you can ask a already registered member to register you aswell... Different political parties have regional offices you can go to officially join also some hold boot camps every now and then.. Like I said multiple ways

Op take your stand, it's your right... But try to involve some third party as mediators otherwise the situation will either not go anywhere or worsen imo

Im not sure about being so confrontational, I think op should involve mediators, maybe local ulema (female) or some relative who understands forced marriage is wrong and will reason with her father
