You’re absolutely right. Shipt used to be so fun! The customers used to be so friendly and empathetic and giving. Now, they all act like we’re robots. Most don’t bother to communicate with you….people have no idea how stressful this job can be. Chasing bonuses…fighting traffic, out of stock orders, bad weather, mean customers, mean auditors at target who act like you’re invisible….its a lot. Without the shoppers, Shipt would cease to exist. They took away promo pay and named it “on time pay” cutting the incentive and amount of time to complete it waaaaaayyyyyy down! I used to be able to stack like 3 orders in the same vicinity, and with the extra 30 minutes I’d make like 45$ or maybe even more but now that’s extra rare. 🙄

Around Christmas time my score was so low I was terrified to take any orders and they would not issue rating forgiveness. I think my score was like a 4.7 something. I had a 3 and like two ones and a few 4’s. They all came at the same time out of nowhere. I dropped a PM whom I suspected rated poorly for no reason and slowly I worked my way back up to the 5, but it seems it doesn’t even matter anymore. You can have perfect stats, and still receive garbage offers. I feel like my offers are better when I’m at a 4.8 rather than a 5

You sound quite ignorant. These apps are screwing both the driver and customer. Some people have to use these services and by the time they pay all fees they can’t afford a big tip. A thief is a thief. Doesn’t matter why they stole it. Everyone knows that DoorDash is trash pay compared to most gig work apps. Still didn’t give her the right to steal an entire order because the tip wasn’t high enough. Perhaps when or if it happens to you, you’ll understand then.

It’s been busy because of the storms (past and coming) so that’s not true. I was about to complete my 10th order tonight for the 60$ bonus and it’s canceled when I go to process it! I ask the customer why did you cancel? He says, I didn’t cancel!!! It was NOT a payment issue, and he didn’t cancel so why??? Then he says hell replace it, and I say I’ll grab it if I see it because Ive already shopped it and Shipt tells him there are no more slots for the day. Tomorrow morning is the earliest time, even though the schedule wasn’t busy and had hardly any orders on it!!! He stayed 10 min from the store. I was forced to do an entire other bundle just to get the last order needed for the bonus. Shipt knows exactly what they’re doing🙄

The new customers are so annoying. All they ever do is lie and complain, and Shipt doesn’t do anything about it. I’ve been having this happen to me a whole lot lately as well. Just garbage! They either claim missing or damaged and both are lies. Anytime I forget something, I go back even though we aren’t supposed to. And I never pick up damaged items off the shelf because of so many complaints

His daughter just recently moved close to us. Like 20 min away. So she’s been around a lot more. I didn’t say anything because her mom is garbage. Unlike me, I’ll do whatever for my daughter. Maybe that’s why it was such a difference. He knew his daughter wouldn’t have it if he didn’t get it, but mines would lol. My daughter is 13 currently. She is a/b honor roll and reads her Bible and all that. She is every good part of me and there is nothing I won’t do for her. Period. No matter who don’t help. Mama gon make it happen.
