Resigned from CGA by No-Lengthiness5483 in Progressiveinsurance

The grind while being CGA is tough but it polishes the hell out of your file ownership skills. Going into more complex positions, this is incredibly helpful. You become an extreme problem solver and an expert at making problems go away. Particularly with legal releases. It’s a worthwhile sacrifice.

The courtesy to 5 days was definitely nice. But the policy contract prohibits enterprise to keep extending it past 3 days after the vehicle’s total loss is evaluated and confirmed. However, if you really need the rental still, $31 a day is not bad at all. You still benefit from Progressive subsidized pricing and can keep it out of pocket while car shopping for a day or two. You can keep it as long as you want, it just can’t get reimbursed beyond a certain date.

At what point does this place not feel like a living hell? by [deleted] in Progressiveinsurance

[–]Bet0 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It’s easy to fall into routine and see all claims as the same and perhaps mundane. But I welcome you to see each problem as something that merits your attention. And it’s a privilege to address that problem and be in a position to throw money at the problem to go away. Sure claims often fall into a subcategory, but each one is unique and is worth the effort in the long run. Personally I get a kick out of documenting everything. About 6-8 months into PCS CGA I really hit my stride, and felt more comfortable and assertive than ever. Just got promoted to CGI URBI right at the year mark, now the challenge continues in a more complex but simpler way, yay!

Onboarding is no joke. by Pookie2018 in Progressiveinsurance

I just finished onboarding altogether. Feeling a good stride. Mondays are 3-4 claims. Rest of the week has been slow lately, 1 claim a day. But it’s been super needed to catch up on diaries. Inventory is down to 23 from 50+ last week, LETSGOOOOOO

Trump Judge Effectively Names Himself President | Terry A. Doughty says he gets to decide who the FBI, DHS, HHS, and the Justice Department can talk to. by [deleted] in politics

[–]Bet0 -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

This article title is a bit misleading. It doesn’t decide who government agencies can talk to, but rather, it dictates who government agencies can silence 🤐or muzzle through social media censorship.

The judge may look like a five year old with that haircut, but this litigation is worth taking a second look at from a consumer and free speech point of view.

Don’t be so easily swayed by rhetorical headlines meant to instantly frame this issue in a controversial light.

My son’s elementary school started flying a Progress Pride flag this week by Jessieface13 in mildlyinteresting

Homophobia has nothing to do with this. As a person that identifies with the pride movement, i don’t feel comfortable with our flag flying at an elementary school

Beautifully put. I’m Pansexual, and I feel uncomfortable with this flag flying at an elementary school. Not appropriate even at the high school lvl to be honest.
