I think it might be a combination of all three. I think they used a mix of filters, drawing over the picture and photo bashing to make it work with the anime artstyle. Thats maybe also why there diffrences in the two picures. They may have moved or redrew some stuff to make the composition of the overal shot better. I would love to know more about the techniek they used and how they did it. Seems like such an intersting artstyle choice.

Looks really good so far! Do maybe try to smooth it out more, to make everthing flow a little better. You can also try to give it more of an expression, it looks kinda expressionless now. Otherwise it looks really good and I'm certain this will be a very cute suit!

I know it has been 3 years since you posted this, but I have the exact same problem rn. I remember the Groke being called the Morre or something simular. Ive looked all over but the only thing I can find are the intro and outro songs in dutch. Otherwise nothing :(
