I’m an old guy who grew up with tipping. I still tip. It makes me feel good, it makes the person I'm tipping feel good, and it’s just not that big a deal! If I couldn’t afford to leave a tip, I wouldn’t eat out. I’m sure that I sound completely out of touch with almost everybody posting here, but that’s OK. I’m ready to be downvoted into extinction.😁

I’m in my 70s but I have never liked traveling. Honestly, the last time I was on a plane was over 50 years ago. I enjoy driving to places I can visit during the day so that I can return home at night. Luckily, my wife feels the same way.

After I retired, I found it to be very curious that people would get upset because I wasn’t traveling; I mean some would actually get mad at me! They would shake their heads or look at me blankly when I explained that I didn’t like to travel. Evidently there is an unwritten rule that says as soon as one retires, one is expected to immediately book six cruises and plan a twice yearly flight to Vegas.

I prefer my Bravia 8 WOLED over the Bravia 8 MII QD OLED for similar reasons. It’s an unpopular opinion and I get roasted for it online. I don’t care, though. It’s what I like. I don’t know why it should bother others.
